Hi @jenelyn14! I saw in the previous discussions that you have lodged your PMV last April 30. April 28 ako naglodged sis! Have you heard any news na from your CO?
@ashlee i read from other forums na isa if not the most critical CO sya. Matagal daw talaga mag grant ng visa. I really am hoping na hindi naman sana. Pero youre almost there. Balitaan mo ako. I think bago matapos ang 9 months meron ka na. Yung isang nabasa ko, she emailed her and replied na bago matapos ang october he will get the result. True enough 2 days bago natapos ang october her visa was granted.

Hi @jenelyn14. Nagfollowup si fiance last month and they said na it might get finalised on or before January 2015. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang CO ko up to now. They never emailed me asking for additional docs. I'm hoping nga na ma-grant soon coz our wedding is set to happen this December. May visa and tickets na both families namin so i'm praying na sana mabigay sya very very soon.

@jenelyn14 we'll have it December 20. But yung mom ko booked na to fly there on Dec 4. So i'm really really praying na sana ma-grant na visa this November para sabay kami pumunta ng Oz.

Hello girls! Wag kayo masyado magdepend sa mga forums about your CO kasi super masesetress kayo. Mine before was M Subagan. Panay bad comments din about her as CO na kesyo matagal mag grant at laging umaabot ng 9-11 months. Case to case basis yan so depending pa din on how complicated your application is. Mine was granted after 7 months. So hold on still pa din! good luck girls!!

@cielabells hindi sana advisable mag book ng tickets before the grant pero I fully understand you dahil I booked a ticket for my mom and dad just last month before i even lodged their TV. Kinabahan ako kasi usually 3-6 weeks na ang processing daw. Buti naapprove naman sila 2 days ago so early pa din sa booked flight nila on the 12th. I understand kasi i was considering din yung price ng ticket. Super mahal na if you book a flight closer to the departure date.

Hi @hannahbugs. I booked my mom's ticket last month kasi i'm afraid na sobrang expensive na ng ticket if i'll book it this month. I booked it a week naman after she got her visa. i'm praying nalang na i'll get my visa this month para we can fly there together coz this is her first international flight, medyo kabado. Hehe
i read in this discussion na sa Mt. Druitt kayo? My fiance's in Rootyhill. Sa Mt. Druitt kami nag-ggrocery nung nagvisit ako dun last December.

@cielabells yes we're from Mt Druitt! wow thats good! Oh now your mom's flight will be the least of your concerns na diba. Cheer up! I flew solo last week. My first International flight since 2004!! Hahaha! I did it so I bet you can, too!

@hannahbugs yeah, i'm just praying nalang for my visa grant, GODWILLING this month. she's afraid daw to fly there solo and ayaw nya mauna. Haha gusto sabay kami.
i have few questions pla regarding your flight. Did you fly PAL ba? With regards to your clothes and stuffs, you have it shipped nalang or you managed to have it all included in your baggage allowance? I don't know kasi how to bring all my stuffs in Oz. PAL kasi 23kgs lang ang allowed.

@cielabells oh si mommy pala ang first time magfly out. Sana nga magrant ka na soon so you can go with her!!
I flew with cebupac and I booked with 40kg check-in. I actually made use of a big balik-bayan box. The ones you can see at NBS. I used that for my stuff. I had three carry-on bags. One for my visa, school and employment documents (which killed me coz I did not realized how heavy its was until i walked thru immigration, dang), another for my wedding gown and wedding shoes (i didnt wanna risk checking these in) and another for my essentials (just a shoulder bag).
Hope this helps!

@hannahbugs hmmmm, i considered flying cebupac din but my mom insisted na try daw nya PAL. I bought luggage pa. Had i talked to you before sana nag-balikbayan box nalang din ako coz its way cheaper and more practical kasi it can store all of our stuffs. Tsk, sayang!
