SA primary schooling

Hello po, gusto ko lang sana makakuha ng tips & advice kung paano ung process ng pagahanap at pag enrol ng mga bata sa school jan sa SA..ano ba requirement, mga fees, procedures mga gamit sa school at mga advice na din sa mga kids kung paano makibagay sa 1st days ng school

    usually meron primary school in every suburb so kahit saan ka tumira sa australia e may malapit na school. sa enrolment naman sure na hahanapin ung birth certificate at immunization record ng bata and anytime pede mo i-enroll sila. sa fees naman depende kung private or public.

    sa public/govt lang po plan namin i send ang mga bata for schooling.

    in terms of fees mga magkano naman po ba? need ba nila mag baon din? o nandun na sa school ang food ?

    free ang tuition sa mga government school. miscellaneous lang ang babayaran. misc fee from 210 dollars per year depende sa school ayon sa migration.sa.gov. yup, kailangan magdala ng baon. meron din canteen na pede magorder sa morning then kunin na lng ng bata yung food during breaks. minsan ganun ginagawa nmin kapag tinamad mag prepare ng baon sa morning.

    Maigi din kung yung school na mapapasukan ng anak mo ay merong New Arrivals Program. Sa mga anak ko meron silang school bus for free, for the duration ng program. Usually isang taon bago sila ilagay sa mainstream. Sa Clovelly Park Primary School ang bata pumapasok.

    @brixx89 - although padating pala kami dyan, eto yung mga napagaralan ko sana makatulong (pakicorrect na lang pag may mali):

    1. Jan start of term1; Jul start of term 3 - ang alam ko kahit anong term pwede nila tanggapin ang bata, yung grade depende sa edad at hindi sa tinapos sa ibang bansa.
    2. 80% or more kids of Au nagaaral sa public; libre, may bayad pag Christian / Catholic or Private Schools
    3. Free Tuition pero voluntary contribution from $60 to $1K
    4. Pay for stationery, books, uniforms, sport equip, music equip, school trips.
    5. Baby book / immunization at birth certificate lang requirements
