    Yung FBI clearance namin nareceive namin in about a month or so despite 2-3 months "normal processing time". Pero kasi nasa US kami noon; mabilis ang courier service at baka iba ang groups na nagpa-process ng local at international requests (not sure though).

    HI I need help from anyone. How can I check my status if I have not lodged online. According to the email I received from my agent, my paper was lodged last March 7,2012 Visa 176 FS with corresponding receipt/acknowledgement from DIAC.

    Is it possible to check my status online?
    I will also be filing by paper. Not in a hurry kasi so buti na lang may kapareho ako dito...

    Dear C,

    Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, the Skilled Migrant Mentoring Program no longer runs. We do however, offer several other employment courses, such as the Skillmax job seeker course, English for Employment and Pathways to Employment.

    Skillmax is a job seeker course for migrants with an English level of IELTS 6.5+. The course usually runs over weeks, on 3 to 4 days, and covers everything from job seeking techniques, to writing a resume and cover letter, as well as networking etc. The City East Community College does try to connect most participants to a professional mentor, someone from the same professional background who can meet with the migrant and can explain to them more about their specific profession.

    The English for Employment course is very similar, does run over 10 weeks though and has as a requirement that students have an IELTS of 5.5+.

    The Employment Pathways course runs over 6 weeks and covers a 2 week work experience placement at the end.

    All these courses are government funded and hence free of charge for eligible migrants.

    Please note that, because the Skilled Migrant Mentoring Program no longer exists, we only check this email occasionally. You can better reach us under [email protected].

    Our next Employment Pathways course starts 16th of July.
    The next Skillmax course will probably commence 20th of August, and English for Employment on 15th of October.

    Welcome! :) Thanks @SGN. Hmmm ung sa akin and sa baby, after 4 working days lang finalised na from the time na nagpamedicals kami. Yung kay hubby after 8 working days ata. Take note na I'm talking about from the time na nagpamedicals kami up until naging finalised. As a summary:

    June 2 - Medicals at Nationwide
    June 5 - Further Medical results received for all, except for HIV
    June 8 - Medical results received for HIV (except hubby's), Medicals Finalised for me and for baby
    June 13 - Medical results received for HIV, Medicals finalised for hubby
    June 14 - VISA granted

    261313 (Software Engineer)

    Feb.15.2012 - started working on ACS requirements
    Mar.02.2012 - submitted online ACS application and sent documents to ACS via Fedex
    Mar.05.2012 - ACS acknowledged actual documents
    Mar.21.2012 - ACS finalised assessment: Suitable
    Mar.31.2012 - IELTS exam with BC
    Apr.13.2012 - IELTS Results (L:8.5 R:7 W: 7 S: 8 OB: 7.5) Thank you LORD!
    Apr.14.2012 - Lodged 175 Online Application
    Apr.20.2012 - Completed Online Attachments
    May.24.2012 - "Application being processed further"
    May.29.2012 - CO Assigned :-)
    Jun.07.2012 - Uploaded NBI Clearance
    Jun.13.2012 - Medical/Health Requirements Finalised
    Jun.14.2012 - VISA GRANT! Thank you, LORD! :-)
    Jun.07.2013 - Initial Entry Date Deadline
    Apr.28.2013 - Initial Entry (Sydney)
    Jun.28.2013 - Verbal Job Offer (Melbourne)
