@j_1019alisen mam, ask ko man po...wat do u in po n mababa ielts? kac ako po bandscore 7 lang po pero wala po ko pts kung sakali kac may 6.5 po ko...so ibig sabihin po mababa chnace ko mainvite kung may 6.5 ako sa ielts kahit n mka60 pts pa rin ako for visa 189?...pls po pkiexplain..thanks po

@johanncedrick nope. hindi naman. as long as naka pasok ka sa pass mark ok pa rin yon. Iba kasi case ko sayo. Nirerequire lng naman ng AU immigration is 6.0 except of course sa AIMS na you really have to get a TBS of 7.0 Dont worry too much you'll get your visa soon.

Hello guys! First, I would like to thank those enablers that are kind enough to answer questions posted in this forum. I have been a lurker for quite sometime now and reading the threads has been a great help and a good source of information. Like many of you here, I am also a graduate of Medical Technology more than a decade ago but I did not pursue practicing the course. Is there a program in Australia that provides a bridging program or a refresher course? I know Canada has one. Thank you in advance!

Hi @winstonvil.. wala din akong makita nung ng-Google ako.. pero pwede ka siguro mag-email sa mga Universities dun na nago-offer ng MLS course.

Suggestion lang po, instead na mag-bridging course, apply ka na lang as trainee sa Lab. Mas marami ka matutunan tsaka better yung hands-on experience.

Since graduate ka naman ng BSMT, experience lang ang kelangan mo para makakuha ng MLT / MLS certification sa AIMS.

Sa New Zealand ang may bridging course from MLT to MLS. Hanggang MLT lang gina-grant sa NZ for Pinoy Med Techs.

magkakaroon po kaya ako ng problema kung 2 years na akong hindi nagwowork sa Lab? Ano po ang required na work experience for MLS sa visa 189? Ang sabi po kse sa akin for MLS.. 3 years work experience within the last 5 years. Tama po ba?

I'll be working in a small lab after ng exam this Thursday.. baka kse hanapan ako ng current employment..

Hello guys.. Just thinking.. Sa mga nakapasa na po sa Professional Exam, does AIMS give partial points sa attempted answers? I mean if they give 0.5 marks (or higher) if may kulang sa sagot etc.. For example 4 marks, kaso the answer is incomplete or enumeration pero lacking ng isa, will they give it partial points still? Do they have this information sa website how they check the papers? Hehe hope somebody can shed light on this!

@rjohndeguzman ung brother ng friend ko sinama nia sa application ung gf nia.. pero ng-civil wedding sila bago umalis.. I dunno lang kung nirequire ng immigration officer un.. usually pag de facto hihingan kau ng 12 months proof na you are living together sa same address. You can show proof like bills or lease contract.

@rjohndeguzman ung letter ko dumating after more than 1 month tpos nklagay dun s letter na Congratulations etc.. tpos inemail ko lng sila to ask ung score ko every subject tpos inemail nmn nila agd. I didnt expect din tlg n papasa ksi nahirapan ako s histopath, pero it turned out 50% ako s micro at histopath. Gnun lng ung sasabihin nila. Itemized lng nila ilang % nakuha mo per subject.

@raspberry0707 sympre ung pambayad s visa, mejo mabigat sa bulsa hehe. If ur coming together w/ ur family mas mahal sympre hehe. Tpos nyan, medical na ksabay ng nbi at police clearance kung nagpunta ka sa ibang country to work.

Hinanda na po namin ung bayad sa visa at show money sakaling hanapin. Mejo mabigat nga po kse ksama ko husband ko. Yung Police Clearance na lang ang mejo mahirap kse kelangan ko kumuha jan sa Singapore at sa Thailand. Kelangan pa nmn sa SG mag-appeal at kelangan ksama ung letter from Australian Immigration na need mo ng COC. Ilang months ba validity na nkstate sa letter for Police Clearance? Pwede n kaya ako kumuha ng NBI o masyado pa maaga?
