@jacdang hi! if it's ok for you to share, how much was your show money? I'm planning to lodge this month but my husband is only doing part-time job at Sydney, so I think I have apply for a loan and show our PH joint account. thanks

@ging no need na sis..immi officials in Sydney did not ask for 'show money' from me when i arrived at the airport..though i had w/ me around $500 coz my length of stay is 9days only..and when i applied for a tourist visa, i declared that hubby would shoulder my accommodation, transpo and other financial needs..so as proof, i uploaded his latest tax return and monthly salary slip..i also enclosed my ITR, monthly slip, approved leave, COE stating my annual gross income and of course marriage cert..we did not include our joint bank account..at that time kasi e maliit balance nya, hehe..approved nmn after 2weeks

@ging meron sis..we opened our joint account way back 2012 pa..so nung nglodge aq i uploaded ung quarterly bank statement nmin to show ung movement ng savings nmin..immi doesnt require us applicants to show huge amount..what matters more is to prove that's not a 'one-time, big-time' deposit..

Hello! Questions po,

1. Diba kasama nililista nga applicant for partner visa yun parents, at lahat ng kapatid nya, nagkaron ba nang case dito na pati yun non-migrating na immediate members eh ni-require for medical?
2. Kapag ba online nagsubmit ng application, CC lang yun option to pay? Pagka-click ko kasi ng submit, asking for CC details na un next page.

@ava_garde06 yes sis may part sa application form na i-enumerate sponsor's & applicant's parents and siblings..but they are not required to undergo medical exam, only the applicant/s..

as for the payment, not sure if there are other mode of payments..credit card ko kc ginamit ko on paying the visa fee..

@jacdang okay naman po may nakausap nmn po akong client svc officer kso busy ata si CO kya d xa nakausap ko. nagemail po kc ko nug friday aftr ko mrcv email nya kso til now wla p sgot urgent pa naman po kc akala ni COvisit ako now s Au. nklgy s email nya n i have to inform them when ako balik pinas paa mfinalise un application. e nndto kng nmn ako ph nagwewait ng decision. T.T

@say05 ayy ganon sis! where did they get the idea that u r goin to Au? Did u include it in the application form that u intend to go to Au on a particular date? In my case kasi, i dont hav a plan to fly to Au while waiting for a visa grant, but when i booked a flight (because of piso fare, haha), I emailed my CO to inform her of my upcoming flight. That was b4 I lodge the tourist visa.

@jacdang D po satisfied ung CO n bblik p kmi pinas kc immediate fam ko n po si hubby.. ska cgro po isang bagsak ung lagay nmin ng malaking amt s acct. bka po un. Last yr p po un Feb 2014. Atleast po ngyon okay na hehe nagaantay nlng po ng murang airfare

Hello sisses!
I got my subclass 309 visa last week so right now am looking at the pre-departure requirements. I have some questions though, would appreciate any info on this -

1. Do I have to register at the CFO even though I got a provisional/temporary visa, not the permanent (subclass 100) one?
2. Do I have to attend the seminar/guidance counselling by the CFO even though my partner is not a foreign national/former citizen? My husband has a Skilled Migrant PR visa.
3. What else do I need to accomplish before leaving for Australia?

Thank you in advance for any help! Lost na lost na ako eh, can't seem to find relevant info in the CFO webpage.

PS. I got my visa 9 months and 2 weeks after lodging the application. I think that time frame is the norm now.. Nakakastress talaga mag antay pero hang in there! Darating din yan

@ging sa pagkakaalam q kailangan mong magsubmit ng manibagong requirements needed for tourist visa application including invitation letter, bank statemet mo at ng partner, other assets mo, certificate of employment at leave sa work... Kg sufficient ang support mo malki ang chance na maapprove ang ung application...

@mayang prob ko kc if magresign ako wla akong support ng return (employment). Pwede kaya maging support ang application for partner's visa? eh, need ko nman talaga bumalik para magrant ang visa.

@ging i did apply last Nov while waiting for my visa..i applied online..i attached my COE, flight details, pay slip, ITR, approved leave and my hubby's pay slip..approved nmn after 2weeks..hope this helps

@ging Hi...I lodged my tourist visa on feb 5, ovr a month after i lodged my partner visa and until now, there's no decision yet on the tv. i kept emailing them about it and they kept telling me that they are coordinating with the CO handling the partner visa..my partner in Aussie called immi there too but they cant see my tv applic on the records since its lodged in PH. if they would grant the tourst visa now, im not gonna fly anymore since my partner visa is on the final stage. when i took my CFO seminar, i spoke with to a lady who did the same and in her case the partner visa was granted first and the TV followed after which is really not making sense...

but then again, its case to case basis.
