To all who have passed with flying colors in speaking, did you put emphasis in stressing words and intonation during describe image, and re-tell lecture?

@filipinacpa Na try ko n yun isa pero mababa score ko kaya gusto ko try yun 2nd then buy ulit. Di kasi me convince sa score ko kaya high score ko sa ielts. Pero gusto ko try actual. Affected b if slow yun internet connection? Kasi nun test ko computer sabi recording is too quiet kahit loud voice ko then minsan tagal mag loading.

@Julian they will just ask you the same set of questions if you buy another set a and set b.. yes, nakakaaffect din ang slow ang internet connection. hindi kasi mapipickup ni computer yung recording on time. so make sure stable ang internet connection when doing the practice exam. did you do a voice check before exam? okay naman po ba?

@Julian anyway you can still buy another set of exam.. di naman sila nagbigay ng answer key.. and hindi rin naman 100% natin matandaan yung questions..

alternatively, you can test nalang whether marecognise ni computer yung voice mo. marami dyan online. free pa.

I used Siri, S Voice, https://talktyper.com, https://speechpad.pw/ .. kuha ka lang ng isang article na basahin mo tapos check mo kung marecognise yung speeches mo.. content is not really that important din naman sa speaking. it's more on fluency and pronunciation.. and i think key words din related to the topic..

Eto po ginawan ko per MODULE TYPE yung lahat ng questions.. Para ma assess po kng anong question types na ka affect sa particular module ng pte..

May ganito na rin sa score overview shared by Pearson although per question type naman ang hatian nila.. Sana makatulong..

Para po sa mga gusto ng score overview template in analyzing your scores further per exan area, you may download it here:

Although meron na provided si Pearson, but per question type mo yung kanila.

So if you are low in speaking, for example, at the same time you also got a low score in reading, then you can probably assess from here na sa read aloud, etc probably hindi naging okay, etc.. Hope this helps!

I will be schedule this Sunday in Bright Center.... just want to give it a try. If I will not be lucky I will schedule again in Pearson Makati on August 6. Try and try until my pocket cries.

For those planning to take PTE Academic exam in Bright Center Ortigas, you will notice that they don't have sched of exam on August 1 onwards. The reason is that they are moving to a different location but it was not yet finalize.

Mga bro and sis. What is the best time to take the online scored practice test? One week before or 1-2 days before the actual exam? Thanks.

@nedz I took mine like a week before my actual exam. I took set a last April 30 without booking the exam yet and to see how I go about the practice exam without consistent reviewing. Then when the result came okay, I immediately booked the exam on May 9. I took set b on May 6 to see how I progress from having serious and consistent review from May 1 to May 6. Both sets did okay. So it definitely increased my confidence on the actual exam.

Ingatan po speaking. Pansin ko marami nadadali dito. Just because the computer won't be able to properly recognise your voice or the computer could still capture other sounds from the background.

Korek! Sa PTE lang perfect ang writing score ko landslide sa 3 takes! Hahaha everything is possible with PTE.. Lol

question po sa write from dictation sa listening. mabilis po ba talaga sa actual yng phasing? as in tuloy tuloy magsalita at walang time para i-type yng sentence na unang nabanggit? ksi sa macmillan ang bilis e parang wala png 5secs nagsasalita na ulit.
