These are the books that I studied for the exam.
Clinical Laboratory Science Review: A Bottom Line Approach by Patsy Jarreau (it is summarized but I find lacking in Blood bank and Clinical chem)

For Blood bank transfusion and Clinical chemistry, I supplemented it with:
Success!Clinical Laboratory science by Ciulla
Concise Review of Clinical Laboratory science by Hubbard

I did not read the whole Ciulla and Hubbard book, just the sections on Clinical chemistry and Blood transfusion. As for the histology part, I just searched the internet about the basics on histology and what you need to know as a med lab scientist.

hello ask ko lang sa mga nagaapply na for medicals at nakapagapply na.
doon bago mabigyan ng HAP ID, di ba may set of questionnaires about health declaration. ano yung sinulat ninyo sa question na "Have you ever had prolonged exposure to TB?" No pa rin ba ang sagot kahit na nagwork tayo sa ospital at endemic naman talaga ang TB sa pinas?

@ophthaqueen I answered No.. tingin ko No ang sagot kse nklagay nmn na "prolonged exposure".. unless ngwork sa Micro n gumagawa ng sputum culture, sa TB Lab or kung phlebo na lagi ngwa-wards sa patients n may TB.. kung sa Central Lab lang ngwowork d nmn tau masyadong expose sa TB..

hi everyone. Sa mga nasa OZ na, kamusta po kau? nakahanap na po ba ng work? Baka naman po pede nyo ako mairefer sa work. Kakapalan ko na face ko hehe.. Been here in Adelaide for 3 months now at very challenging ang pghahanap ng work khit odd jobs. Nag-try na din ako pass online sa ibang state, pede nman daw mgpaalam sa SA na mag-interstate. "it's not what you know, it's who you know" ang kalakaran dito, referrals so hope may good samaritan na magrefer. Passed the medical laboratory scientist exam last year sept 2014. Kati phlebo/ lab technician na work, will grab it. Salamat kabayan.

Mahirap pala tlaga humanap ng work jan.. mas lalo cguro mahirap pag end of the year ang punta kse holiday season.. balak ko pa naman October mgpunta kung sakaling ma-grant.. Wala pa naman kaming kakilala jan.. :S

Or habang walang work.. try nio po kumuha ng mga projects sa www.elance.com.. marami po doon na online work.. baka sakaling swertehin kau n makakuha ng mga projects.. yung isa ko kseng friend jan sa Elance kumukuha ng online jobs..

Guys matanong ko lang kc lumabas ung positive result ng EOI ko nung july pero ngaun sabi ng agent ko eh may "technical problem" daw kaya klngang i withdraw ung finile na Eoi before tapos magppasa uli kami ng bago so maghihintay pa kmi sa next round which is sa sept 7 pa...meron din po bang ganitong situation sa inyo? Tnx

Thus, we will submit a new Expression of Interest for you & will file your visa application once when we receive a new invitation.

Same round of EOI kau ni @ophthaqueen.. lumalakad na ung application nia.. hindi yata legal na MARA agent ung nakuha mo.. wag ka na magbitaw ng money sa kanila. Ikaw na ang mgfile ng visa application mo.. tutal hihingin din nila ang payment sau.. dinedelay lang nila ung application mo..
