guys meron bang nag scored practice test dito sa ptepractice? any tips sa speaking? i got 64 and pansin ko mga 3 describe image ata yung nagstop recording sakin halfway dahil silence detected daw khit ngsasalita nman ako. tnry ko din yung test record dun sa may homepage pero pag nilayo ko ng konti too quiet. kaya nilalapit ko tlga. kaso parang andami narerecord n hangin after every word pg sobra lapit. not sure kung dahil sa headset ko lng to. im using the normal headset for sony mobile phones lng kasi. any tips din sa reading part? pansin ko parang mas mahirap yung fill in the blanks nung scored practice test kesa sa mcmillan. sa mcmillan usually familiar yung collocations pero sa scored nahirapan ako kasi kelangan ko tlga basahin yung buong paragraph tpos mrmi pa rin ako mali. ganun din kaya kahirap sa actual?

@aria I suggest use PC headset talaga and not the ones from phones. there are cheap headset naman that you can buy in pc stores or cdr king if you're based in Ph. as for the reading part, during my actual exam, words were not that complicated naman though meron din na sobrang na-stuck ako at one point. so you can't rely tlga na mas madali ang actual. Just keep on familiarizing collocations. And yes, tama naman po na skim muna ung paragraph to get the whole idea. Just be cautious sa time.

@aria we have the same problem. my apple earpods does not seem to work. thinking of buying a $40 headphones nalang. bhala na bsta mk 20 points lang

ng purchase ako nung gold test kit. nakita ko na ung listening reading speaking writing na individual test. pero di ko makita ung dalawang scored test. saun un makikita?

@kymme yung mga nakita mo, nasa sample tests yun. yung 2 mock test nasa Online practice test. Since gold kit yan, may makikita kang 2 scored test with start button. Pag nagamit mo na, mapapalitan ung start button ng +order meaning you have to buy it again kasi one time use lang sya

@jrgongon saktong 60 points ksi ako..masmalaki ung chance na mainvite agad pag 65 above di ba..by february 2016 my points will fall short ksi i'll be turning 33 so maiiba na ung points ko dahil sa age

@paw07 pwede ka naman gumamit ng kahit anong picture na makita mo around you. Then practice using that. Pero based sa mga experience ng mga pte takers, mas madami pa din tlaga ang graphs/chart. Though it will really help if makapagpractice pa din ng describing pictures. Madami jan. just look around you.

@kymme i tried changing the sound settings of my pc (windws8) in control panel. there's a microphone boost somewhere in the recording properties. record was louder after that.

Hi Guys, anyone have tried to request for a RESCORE of the Speaking Test?

I got my PTE result today and it's quite disappointing R75,W75,L71,S64
I'm only 1 point away from my desired points of 65!
Kailangan ko kasi PROFICIENT classification para maka proceed na ako sa EOI
Btw, 2nd take ko na ng PTE...all the scores increased naman ,sumablay lang ng 1 point sa speaking

Kaya baka makuha sa request to rescore

Just received my PTE results and, to my surprise, I got the results that I needed (see my signature below for the figures).

I honestly didn't expect this. I was actually already prepared to book for an IELTS exam this Saturday kasi booked out na ang PTE in Sydney for the whole month of November. And I had enough reason for my doubts. Walang ka-sense-sense yung mga sagot ko sa describe image, re-tell lecture, kahit sa summarize spoken text. At nag-struggle ako sa reading. I missed the last 4 pages kasi di ko napansin ang time.

So, the rumors are true in regards to the leniency of PTE! Dahil diyan, I highly recommend it.

Now let me take this chance para pasalamatan ang lahat sa forum na ito. You guys have been very helping. Sobra! Thanks @filipinacpa for starting the thread, for the review materials, and for your compilations on wordpress.

I will try to pay the kindness forward by sharing tips and tricks that I know. Pero bukas na. Haha. Pag-iisipan ko muna at late na rin kasi dito.
