Hi to all! Bago lang po akong member sa forum na to.

Yung husband ko po nakagsubmit na sya sa ACS last June16 ng requirements. As of today, ang status ay nasa authorized assessor parin. Ang worry po namin, ang nilagay namin dun sa application form (ACS) ay Network Admin. (ANZSCO code 263112).. It turns out, wala na sya sa new list (SOL 1 & SOL 2) effective July 1, 2012. We're optimistic na positive ang result ng assessment but knowing this, ano po kaya ang possible na mangyayari? Thanks for the help! Sayang kasi di na umabot sa ne policies..

dun sa bagong SOL, ano yung malapit na occupation na applicable sa husband mo po?

Bka it would help if you send an inquiry/email to ACS about the change in the SOL?

I've checked the new SOL, applicable yung Comp. Network & Systems Engr. since network admin ang current job nya tapos yung past employment nya ay Systems Engr... Ok lang po kaya yun mag-email sakanila? Siguro mga 2 weeks narin na nasa assessor..hope di magkaproblema... Thanks po!!

Reply to @RobertSG: depende po kasi yan sa job responsibilities nyo e. ang titingnan po ng ACS ay yung job scope/responsibilities at hindi yung title. so depende po yan sa paggawa ng detailed COE nyo. check nyo po yung details ng Computer Network and Systems Engineer - 263111 at check nyo kung pwede nyo ipattern ang job description nyo based on that.

Yup, oo nga...I'm thinking baka naman magsuggest ACS ng ibang occupation na pasok sa qualifications nya based dun sa bagong SOL..hay, hirap naman...hehe

Hi mam, umabot ka po sa application before july1? Nsa assessment stage palang yung husband ko (ACS)..balak din sana namin yang visa 176 since we have an Aunt too in Aus..kaso close na nga dahil skills select na ngayon..ask ko po sana kung ano ginawa nyo??

Reply to @hotshot: Ang pakiramdam ko 50-50, kasi may pumasok nman na responsibilities pro hindi lahat and nalilito ako dun sa technical support expirience ko kasi dun ako may pinakamahabang experience though troubleshooting ng computers prin nman ang responsibilities ko. Hindi ko alam kung tatawagin ko si Batman (Bahala na si Bataman!)

Hi guys. Tanong ko lang kung anyone of one has an experience of downgrading your skills from Project Manager (PM) to System Analyst or other IT professions other than being a PM for purpose of applying for assessment sa ACS.

Alam naman natin mas maraming opportunity sa IT Professionals rather than IT Managerial roles for purpose of skilled visa.

May I know how you get around with your ACS and success rate?

Hi all,

Magandang hapon po sa inyong lahat. meron po kong mga tanong tungkol sa papers na i sasubmit sa ACS.

For example po.

Diploma ,TOR
Cert of Employment
Cetificates / license

I believe yung mga original docs po ang i sasubmit via courier.

isosoli po ba nila yung mga docs nito after ng validation / verification nila?
or if i am mistaken , photocopy lang need nila ?

ang alam ko po ngayon sa ACS...lahat ay online applications na. so scan nyo lang po yung mga original documents nyo at yun ang iattach nyo sa online application nyo.

Hello everyone, just a question regarding skilled employment reference, here in SG I am under an agency deputed to a client and then under that client I am assigned to another company as network engineer. The agency doesn't usually know the specific duties and given that I have like 3 companies to contend with, I am confused whom can I get to

@Al5yd - here is my suggestion:
- get a cert of employment from the agency, stating your job title, and that you are assigned to a client/company..
- from the client /company , ask your supervisor/manager if they can sign your detailed job description.. ikaw na ang gumawa, tapos papirmahan mo na lang sa kanila..

@Al5yd, parehas tayo nang situation. Ang ginawa ko is yung gaya nung ina advise ni @lock_code2004. Naka submit na ako nang ACS application last Tuesday (17-Jul-2012). So far awks naman daw lahat nung sinubmit kong docs.

hi guys, hope anyone can give me an idea. Pwede ko bang i include yung mga contract projects na ginawa ko and if so, does anyone have a sample format?
Full time employed ako, but sometimes nag sa side line ako on other companies... they are all paid naman. I have all the needed requirements already, just want to add
yong mga contract projects, baka maka tulong pa kase sa assessment. By the way, i nominate ko ung software engineer. Thanks ulet...

follow-up question lang po, currently 4 years pa lang work experience ko and 3 months pa lang ako sa current company ko. mas ok ba kung hintay muna ako na 5 years work experience ko or ok lang kahit ngayon na ako magpa assess? also, will they credit my current employment since ongoing naman yun eh.

@Al5yd, sa opinion ko okay lang na mag pasa ka na agad. Nabasa ko sa skills assessment document nila na 2 years ICT experience lang pede ka nang mag pa assess. At saka yung 4 years experience mo naman is sa IT lahat diba? Yung current work mo as long as sa IT din yun i coconsider nila yun.

Hirap kase mag pa delay delay kase humihirap nang humihirap maka pasok. Kaya hanggat may chance, grab it :-)

One more question pa pala, kailangan ba naka indictae yung salary sa employment reference letter? nabasa ko kasi sa ibang forum na hinahanap daw yun. Please advise kung ok na yung ganitong format ng reference letter:

ah hindi lahat nung certificate of employment ko may salary na nakalagay. yung iba wala, pero yung duties and responsibilities yung ang in ensure kong meron. Naku, sana naman wag na akong hingan nang panibagong COE na may salary..

@Al5yd, yung format pala nang COE ko, nde din naka standard na gaya nang sample mo. chineck ko lang na more or less andun yung details na hinihingi nila. Pero ayos din yang sample format mo.

Reply to @blitzk: nakakalito nga eh hahaha, siguro depende sa case officer. Balitaan mo na lang kami kung may mga bago silang pinapadagdag para naman makapaghanda. hanggang ngayon planning pa din ako hehehe, kailangan ko pa kumuha ulit ng OTR sa school namin kasi nawala yung kopya ko. Yung sinubmit mo ba na OTR and diploma yung school na yung nag certify as true copy or pwede din notarized na lang? may pinsan kasi akong lawyer so balak ko sa kanya ko na lang pa notarize docs ko and certify as true copy.

Reply to @James_Ausie: mali pala ako...sa ACS assessment pala kelangan certified copies of documents kahit na online application na sila. so you should notarize (CTC) your copies before scanning and attaching it to your online application. sorry for the misinformation.

so iphotocopy nyo yung TOR and diploma nyo...tapos yung photocopy ang ipa-notarize nyo as CTC.

mas mabuti na nga siguro yung ganun.
Balak ko umuwi ngayong October para maasikaso lahat ng documents ko related sa previous employers and school docs na din. Tpoas may additonal question nanaman pala ako guys hahaha

how about yung mga certifications like CISCO certs? pano nyo pina certify as true copy yun, sa CISCO kasi may verification link para sa authenticity ng cert, I hope ok na yun as proof.
