    Wag maliitin yung reading hehe. ST lang @jrgongon. Makakaraos ka rin hehehe. For sure may uulit na sa reading mo kasi nung 2nd take ko may umulit. Basta mag focus ka sa dropdown at fill in the blanks kasi kahit 1 question yun eh madami points dun.

    Hello po! Bago lang po ako dito. Gusto ko lang magtanong kung saan pwede mag exam sa Pinas (based in SG ako). Kasi pag niche check ko sa Pearson website, isa lang ang lumalabas na exam centre e. Meron pa bang iba maliban dito? Salamat po. :)

    @engineer20 salamat sa reply. fully booked na dito sa SG buong November. nagbabaka sakali lang ako na baka maraming test centres sa Pinas so mas maraming options. ang uwi ako ay sa Dec 1 so baka meron kayong alam...

    Hmm, masyado ata malapit. Sakin siguro mga 2-3 inches away. Pag malapit kasi parang may buga ng hanging narerecord. Test mo ng maigi sa test recording hanggang pure voice mo lang ang na cacapture. Ganun ginawa ko.

    Yes, bago mag start yung exam, may testing. Pag sasalitain ka ng "testing testing 1 2 3" sa mic.

    PTE-A mas mahirap in general lalo na yung mga Reading at Multiple Choice pero mataas mag bigay ng score compared sa IELTS. Palagi akong 6.5 sa Speaking at Writing pero pag dating sa PTE-A 83 score ko. Equivalent to band 8 ng IELTS.

    @jrgongon - good luck, kaya mo yan.. relax lang.. you can do it.. May nakasabay ako dati na nag take ng PTE-- she had taken IELTS 7 times, and 5 times na sa PTE..and yet hindi sumusuko...hopefully okay na rin score nya..

    @iam_juju for me, both are difficult. Though technicality, mas mahirap PTE sa dami ng test types with limited time. And "touch, move" ka na sa sagot mo kasi di mo na mababalikan to change it once you click next. lol. Though mas maraming strategy at technique na pwede mo gamitin sa exam unlike IELTS. mas madali i-overcome ung PTE and get 20 pts. Pero not a reason para i-underestimate ang PTE. Dapat may preparation pa din.

    @Liolaeus thank you for the reply. I took the ielts test thrice 2 months apart each. My scores were high like reading ko perfect score, 8 listening, 7.5 speaking, pero laging 6.5 ang wrting ko dunno why. The first time talagang nangarag ako sa oras kasi nag cr ako in between kaya nagkulang ako sa oras thats why ok lang 6.5, i expected that score but the 2nd and 3rd part i really did my best i even applied the strategies of ryan but still 6.5 :( i was losing hope and deciding to let go of migrating to AU but then i saw this thread. Sana i will ace the pte test this time.

    @Liolaeus thank you for the reply. I took the ielts test thrice 2 months apart each. My scores were high like reading ko perfect score, 8 listening, 7.5 speaking, pero laging 6.5 ang wrting ko dunno why. The first time talagang nangarag ako sa oras kasi nag cr ako in between kaya nagkulang ako sa oras thats why ok lang 6.5, i expected that score but the 2nd and 3rd part i really did my best i even applied the strategies of ryan but still 6.5 :( i was losing hope and deciding to let go of migrating to AU but then i saw this thread. Sana i will ace the pte test this time.
    I feel for you. I did take Academic exams twice and parehong sablay ako sa reading part. Parati nalang 6.5 yung score. I diverted my plans in applying to Canada nalang instead.
    Although na lodged ko na yung express entry profile ko sa CA but my heart is still pushing for my Aussie dream. Thus, I will try my best again to take this PTE Academics. hopefully, i can also ace my exam so I can proceed with my assessment. I am just thankful to the starter of this PTE Academics thread. Nabuhay ako ng loob to give it a try again.

    09 June 2016 - PTE Acadmics (2nd Attempt Praying i can ace it na)

    05/16 - passed OET (after 4 failed attempts with IELTS and PTE)
    07/16 - finished uni
    07/16 - received AHPRA Australian Registered Nurse rego
    08/16 - student visa 500 (Diploma)
    10/16 - started working as an RN

    07/09/17 - Submitted EOI for State Nom Vic with 60points

    @WalanjoSG kainis ang ielts talaga hindi sila consistent! PAnsin ko kailangan may isang 6.5 para talagang uulit ka kasi once naka all 7 tayong lahat hindi sila kikita grrr yaan mo makukuha din natin ang desired score natin. When are you gonna take the test?

    1/9/16- EIO submitted for NSW state nomination.
    - waiting for ITA

    5/21- Updated EOI. Applied for 189 & 190 Visa
    5/24- ITA for visa 189! Thank you Lord :)
    6/2- Applied for NBI clearance
    With Hit!!! same with husband

    6/3- preparing other docs
    6/7- Applied for CEMI
    6/10- Got our NBI clearance
    6/17- Medicals at Nationwide Davao
    6/23-Health clearance provided
    6/30- Lodged visa 189
    6/30- Attached docs except form 80
    7/29- CO contact asking for form 815
    8/1- submitted form 815

    8/30- Visa granted!!! Thank you, Lord!

    Bridging ba ang path mo? ANMAC mag aassess sayo diba? Alam ko IELTS at OET lang tinatanggap ng ANMAC, so aside sa PTE eh kukuha kapa ulit ng IELTS?.

    Kung registration naman sa AHPRA at immigration eh pwede ang PTE.

    @warquezho i will be taking IELTS pra sa AHPRA and ANMAC (since di pwd ang PTE sa ANMAC). ang PTE is sa immigration ko gagamitin. png increase ng points
