Yung ielts 7 - assumption ko lang po yan. For conservative purposes
IELTS 7 in all subjects is a must - otherwise you will not comply with the requirements of CPAA, ICAA or IPA for your skills assessment.

If I may ask, what has been your experience the past 2 yrs at work?
1st year ko po is revenue analyst (accounts receivable);
2nd year naman is accountant (all accounts);
as of the moment, internal audit naman po..

What do you think po magiging assessment ng CPAA sakin?

Kung naka 1 year kana sa internal audit pwede internal audit skillset/pathway ang kunin mo like me. Advantage is hindi CPAA/ICAA/IPA mag assess sayo kundi Vetassess. General Training lang ang IELTS na need mo tapos pwede ka magpaassess agad kahit walang IELTS. Baka mas madali maka 8 pag GT kesa Academic. Pero yun is kung gusto mo Internal Audit sa Oz

. Pero baka pwede din external audit or Accountant kasi magkamag-anak naman sila haha

@vhoythoy - actually sir, it will not matter kung anong nominated occupation mo with what job you can apply for when you are in australia... take your case for instance, you took the internal audit pathway sa Vetassess, pwede ka pa rin magtrabaho as external auditor, accountant or even professional clown...

I find enjoyment din naman sa pag-rereview for IELTS. Matagal ko na rin kasi gusto ma-enhance talaga yung skills ko on how to use the english language. :P so, this is it! excited ako.

Yung about sa score, siguro nga mahirap makuha kaya kelangan paghirapan, pero syempre naniniwala pa rin ako walang imposible.

Optimistic lang. Hehe.

hindi lang eto yung nauna kong option kasi napansin ko mas marami opening na accounting work. Pero, mas enjoy ko yung work na to. Hehe.

Pwede ka mag process ng visa through internal audit pathway sa Vetassess then pag may visa ka na mag apply either Accountant, Internal audit or External audit pagdating mo sa Australia. Not sure lng about sa invitation rate or success rate sa visa application ng internal audit skillset pathway pero malamang parehas lang yan tsaka mas konti lang din ang alam ko na nag apply through IA skillset sa DIAC karamihan accountant talaga. Possible yung 8 band sa Academic IELTS pero mas mukhang achievable sa General Training. Up to you

Nice, apply na. Alam ko New Zealand yata parang required nabasa ko yata dati. Check which options is easier for your case and go for it. Goodluck

Chill lang @filipinacpa - at your tender age of 22, mukhang super hirap talaga makakuha ng visa unless maka 8 ka sa IELTS. Give yourself a few more years, save up (applying and eventually the cost to migrate will cost tons of money) and pretty soon makakapunta ka na rin.

Usually once you reach 25 - in my opinion you can be in a very good position to succeed in your application as you would have 30pts for age, prolly 15 pts for education, 5 pts in work (or even 10) and 10 pts in IELTS...

@filipinacpa huwag niyo madaliin yan hehe...in fact kung points-tested visa ang habol niyo mas pabor pa nga sa inyo kung mag-aapply kayo sa edad na 25 pataas

If money is not an issue, magstudent visa kayo...by the time you graduate there, mas magiging matunog ang resume niyo sa mga employers

Yes on both

hehee...sa IELTS magkaka-alaman talaga ng magiging tadhana mo sa visa...an exception to the rule is kung may nahanap kang magssponsor sayo (i.e family, employer)

balikan ko lang tong first thread na ginawa ko. grabe it took me 3 years pala sa ngayon to realise my Australian dream.. nakakatuwa mag reminisce.. ngayon naamoy ko na ang visa ko. hehe. 22 years old ako naging firmed that i want to move down under.. and now i'm 25 na, final stage na.. sarap ng feeling.. it's really worth it talaga lahat ng naging struggles..
