@mistykring mas ok na mabasa mo na possible list of essay topics para at least may nakaprepare ka na idea kung ano ang isusulat mo per topic. makakatipid ka sa oras ng conceptualization na magagamit during writing the essay at revision for mistakes.

Hi Guys,

Dun sa mga nag PTE Mock Exam, how many days before you can see the results?

My actual exam is on March 30, planning to buy the gold kit and take mock A on 12th and mock B on 26th. Gagamitin ko yung interval between mock exams para mag adjust kung saan man ako mababa.

Saka triny ko rin yung talktyper.com, parang hindi nya nakukuha yung mga sinasabi ko kahit malinaw naman ako magsalita. iphone headphones with mic nga pala gamit ko.

@rich88 I suggest buy a cheap yet effective head set. I personally bought a plain unit around 400 pesos range. Meron na syang mouth piece and the ear lobes are covered by the ear muffs. We invest on this things as we want to pass the test. Titipirin ba natin ang dreams natin? Good luck, mag te-take na rin ako this March 21, lapit na. Plan ko mag mock test na next week using Set B which I bought on official PTE site.

@rich88 not sure if agad agad din makukuha result ng mock test taken online...gusto ko din ito malaman pero most likely mabilis lang naman ito siguro.

@Levannie galing mo naman...ask ko sana sa 'yo kasi plan ko na i-take set b mock test na binili ko next week. Pagka take ba ng mock test, gaano katagal ang labas ng result? Papaano rin ito makikita. Appreciate the info, lapit na kasi actual PTE test ko. Aim ko sa actual test walang bababa ng 69 on all bands...in practice, prayers and perseverance this will happen. Thanks and God bless!

@jedh_g sakin mga 30 minutes lng ata or less, may result agad yung mock test pagsilip ko after magmiryenda and mag fb ng ilang minutes

@engineer20 hindi po main applicant .2 yrs n kaso ung umployer nmin d nkapasa sa standard ng gov so need nmin mag take p ng ielts .all 5 po.anu po ba mas madali pte or ielts.

tips ko lang sa mga test takers, kasi i conducted an experiment sa PTE Gold Kit - Test B, hindi ako nag suot ng headset para malaman ko kung gaano kataas ang effect ng Speaking sa ibang modules, kaya bumaba lahat ng scores ko nun.

Tapos sa actual exam. Gamitin lang yung template. Ang dami ko din mali sa reading, writing, and listening pero parang hinatak pataas ng speaking yung scores ko sa ibang modules.

Check nyo yung PTE scoring manual, andun halos ng information.

@Levannie parang iba strategy ko the other way around kasi ayoko maihi pag nag tubig ako. Plan ko mag tubig sabay ng breakfast ko from home pa lang. Coming from Laguna pa kasi ako and travel time is approximately 1.5 hrs pa. Then pag nasa trident tower na ko dapat mga 8am para relax mode na

@jedh_g dito sa SG ako nagtake boss. Mga June pa ako mag submit ng EOI, nagkulang kasi ako sa 4 months sa experience. Na assess lang kasi ng ACS na diploma lang degree ko.

Question though, ikaw b yung tipong nauutal? Ako kasi minsan nauutal but I'm trying my best to avoid that. Pero syempre hindi naman nawawala yun, nale-lessen lang.

Nakaka affect ba yun sa overall speaking score? Sinusunod ko lang din yung tips dito na to keep on talking until the timer runs out.

Pa-share sana ng experience mo during the exam specially on retell lecture, describe image part. Thanks bro!

@engineer20 yes negative bro, kulang ng 4 months experience.

@rich88 hindi naman ako nauutal pero mabilis ako magsalita dapat yung speaking mo is fluent and natural. kahit wala ka kwenta kwenta yung content okay lang. tapos sa reading naman dapat natural lang. check mo yung PTE scoring guide. check mo yung speaking guide, halos my effect sya sa lahat ng modules in terms of scoring.

describe image = use template and improvise lang

retell lecture = templates + written notes

Goodluck bro. magkasing hirap lang yung offline pte, MacMillan and antual test. Yung gold kit, mahirap sya compare sa actual exam.

and dapat alert ka lagi, pag misan di ka na makakaisip sa listening kasi drain ka na sa ibang part ng exam.

@pinoycoder thanks bro.. mukhang ok lang pala na mejo mabilis magsalita. Mejo mabilis rin kasi ako magsalita, pinipilit ko lang bagalan dahil baka hindi mag register sa computer yung mga sinasabi ko.

What templates are you referring to? Gaya ba nung mga, "This image/lecture is about XXX, The lecturer is taking about XXXX, The data in this image/graph/lecture is accurate and concise which can be used for future reference on a similar subject of study."

I hope you can also share your templates para mas maraming pagpilian.. thanks bro!

@pinoycoder oi amazing your result ng exam mo ha. Just taken my mock test A sa gold kit. OMG nakakapanic pala. Ang bilis ng transitions ng bawat part. Halos na di na ako makapagsalit doon sa repeat sentance. Namental block na ako. Ito tuloy kinalabas ng mock test ko. R69, L68, S64, W76. Need ko improved tlaga yong speaking part lalo na ung mga graphs and all.
