    Reply to @rbolante: Laging may bad experience kasi ako sa data recovery e. It's either partially recoverable or totally unrecoverable ang files dahil na-overwrite, or hindi 100% recovered ang file. Parang bringing back someone from the grave, parang hindi na sya yun. Zombie na yun!

    Hmm... still it's better to go to the safest route than to risk getting deported or worse even going to jail. We never know kung kailan sila maghihigpit. There are data recovery facilities around and their government could just easily pay experts and software just to find out.

    Just saying. Baka isa sa atin ang mauna ang case. Malaki kasi ang kapalit which is NOT worth all the trouble.

    Just brought in mine, hindi na ako nag encrypt, etc. Chinecheck lang talaga are food, wood, dairy products, drugs. Dire diretso lang ako sa exit 8. Hassle free sa airport. Mag-iingat lang sa excess baggage, paid 100aud sa NAIA1 for 2 bags with excess.

    I dunno, pero sa pagdating ko hanggang sa paglabas sa airport ni hindi ako kinabahan. Yun mga officers hindi sila nagch check isa-isa sa mga dumadaan sa paningin nila. Friendly pa nga eh. Although paulit ulit bawa't checkpoint tatanungin ka if you have anything to declare. Meron iba tatanungin ka do you have candies/lollies, tapos yun iba naman alak, tapos more than twice magkaibang tao tinanong kami if we have aircraft or duty free items. Kasi yun food galing plane yun onboard kailangan din i-declare.

    @Bryann, pano nyo binalot yung mga HDD's nyo para di masira sa check-in baggage? binalik nyo lang sa original box nila? kaso ang bulky naman pag ganun. hehe

    Yup ganun ginawa mo binalik ko sa original box niya. Bale 2 HDD yun + yun media player ko meron din 2TB inside. Yun check-in baggage ko is 1x Balikbayan box and 1x big luggage. Hand carry 1x laptop bag + 1x TNF backpack.

    NOTE:
    Oo nga pala, reminder ha.. if flying with Qantas, strict sila sa excess baggage kahit 1kg excess wala sila patawad. Max per bag is 23kg. Anything in excess you have to pay excess baggage which is A$35 per kilo. Meron ka choice to pay per kilo.. or pay per luggage with excess (A$50 per luggage with excess) upto a max of 32kg if nagbayad ka. If meron ka pa time before the flight, papayagan ka niya ilipat yun mga gamit from 1 bag to the other para isang $50 lang babayadan mo. Pero wala na ako time so ayun A$100 binayadan ko.
