Ask ko lang kung pwede ako makahingi ng format ng subject description mo. Yung mga accounting subjects lang ba pinagawan mo? 150 pesos kasi isang subject. Dumaan din pala ako sa college of accountancy kanina and nag gagawa naman daw sila ng course syllabus pero 100 per subject lang. PUP manila din ako by the way. Thanks

Sorry I don't think I answered your question properly. There are 3 assessing bodies for accountants: CPAA, CAANZ and IPA. What is your purpose for obtaining an assessment? An assessment for migration includes assessment of both education and work experience. Kung education lang I think pwede if you are only after membership as an associate.

Hi! I am newbie here. I am Accounting Sr. Supervisor for 13 years now but I am not a CPA. DO i have a chance to migrate to Australia? I need to apply on my own. I cannot afford to get an agent. Appreciate someone to reply on my query. Thank you.

@jocarv Yes marami din naman naapproved kahit hindi CPA. Provided lang yung scope of work mo is related to the job scope specified by the ANZSCO 221111. You may check it here (http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/[email protected]/Product+Lookup/1220.0~2006~Chapter~UNIT+GROUP+2211+Accountants)
Also, you check the forum under General Skill Migration VISA. You have to religiously read it para may idea ka how it works. Halos lahat kami din naman noong una as in zero knowledge then. Tiyaga tiyaga lang din sa pagbabasa. Or you can also check the DIBP website for more details.

although mas mura ung CPAA.

if you think you are qualified nman and you're confident na ok ung subjs na nakuha mo, go for CPAA kasi sayang din pera. AKo kasi di ako masyado confident kung ok ung mga subjs ko kaya hndi ako sa CPAA, strict dun e.

And un di ung gusto kong maging path pag nasa aussie nko. Mas gusto ko mgng CA rather than CPA.

2. 6.5 Writing ng General IETLS ko, qualified ba o kailangan 7 talaga lahat?

age: 37 yrs old

education: 4 years bs in accountancy, graduated with honor sa Ateneo de Davao

Is it easy to apply for jobs or will they recognize my license? Anyone who knows where i can apply for jobs with immediate hiring?

Sagot sa queries mo @jocarv

1. for EOI (Expression of Interest) they will accept both IELTS GT or ACAD. However, for our assessing body (either CPAA, ICA, IPA) they will only accept IELTS ACAD with 7 in all components. They will also accept other english test like TOEFL, CAE, PTE ACAD.
So IELTS ACAD will do na for the assessing body's english requirement and for IEO.

2. if we are only talking about lodging your EOI your 6.5 writing score in IELTS GT is still acceptable. But reiterate ko lang, before you lodge your EOI dapat tapos ka ng magpa-assess.

3. some are using certification they obtain from their respective schools that they are using english as a medium of instruction.

4. if under state sponsorship (under Visa 190), some are requiring settlement of funds. you may check it with the state website for their specific requirements.

Di pa ko naresearch ung ICAA. Is it internal audit? Mas prefer ko kasi ang cpa din. Meron naman taga-PUP dito sa forum na nakakuha ng positive feedback from CPAA so I think kaya naman. Kaya nga ineffortan ko talaga ung syllabus ngayon, economics nalang kulang sa tuesday ko pa makukuha. Saka IELTS ko is sa April 2 padin. I hope everything will go smoothly

Hi tips I'm from PUP but hindi sa main. I am also overseas. You can ask from your registrar and ask your relative to collect it for you. As for me, I submitted yun mga list ng subjects na required ko kasi may bayad din yun per subject and prepared an authorization letter para sa relative ko na nag-aarrange to collect for me.

@violet yup but associate pa lang ata sya. You still need some accreditation to be a full pledge CPA sa aussie. Ang alam i have two friends there na need pa nilang kumha ng additional subjects and pass an exam to be recognized as a CPA.

Hi! Ask ko lang, what are the cons if magpaassess ako sa CPAA having an IELTS score na 6? I already paid for the assessment, but as I was reading through this forum, all those IELTS takers that have scores below 7 took again another exam, specifically the PTE. Listening ung 6 ko na grade, will it adversely affect my migration assessment? Given that in the immigration office, they were allowing a competent grade naman on IELTS. Salamat po.

@SC30 i don't think they will push through with your assessment since it has been clearly stated their english competency requirement. It should be 7 in all 4 components.

Hi, in anticipation po of submission of EOI, ask ko lng:

If ung naasess ng ICAA na work experience ko is until Jan2016 lang (kasi that month ako nagpaassess) pero I'm still working sa same organization at hndi ako nagresign, dapat ba walang end date ung work experience ko or mas ok na until lng dun sa date as per the assessment of ICAA? Parang nasagot na ito before but concerned lang dn kasi ako bec 4yrs ung work experience ko until Jan2016 (5pts) so kahit na ilagay ko na up to present, hndi nman magbabago kung claimed points ko. Hndi po pa magkakaproblem if magkaiba ung work dates na ilalagay ko sa EOI versus sa assessment results ni ICAA? Mas ok ba na lagyan ko nlang ng end date para same sa assessment ng iCAA? I hope po may makasagot, thanks in advance!
