Hmmm.. hingi sana po ako ng comments from you guys here, im based overseas kasi and Im just starting to prepare the documents needed for the assessment. Hingi po sana ako help and opinion from you.

1. Those from PUP manila here, paano po kayo nakapagrequest ng TOR and syllabus if you are based overseas?

2. Yung mga documents needed for assessment, kailangan po ba lahat ay certified true copy by the respective institutions? or from a notary public will do?

3. based on your own experience po, san mas okay magpa assess? ICAA or CPAA?

Thanks in advance po! Sensya na, im quite confused pa. Di pa rin kasi ako tapos magbackread due to busy work schedule.

Hi @tips!

1. Those from PUP manila here, paano po kayo nakapagrequest ng TOR and syllabus if you are based overseas? - In my case I am from PUP branch but normally naman you can request it from the registrar just make an authorization letter for your representative to process on your behalf.

2. Yung mga documents needed for assessment, kailangan po ba lahat ay certified true copy by the respective institutions? or from a notary public will do? - Sa kin notary public nag-certify lahat ng docs. Yun subject description / syllabi pwede na certify ng school registrar. For me yun subject description ko 5 pages lng so pina-certify ko na rin sa notary public.

3. based on your own experience po, san mas okay magpa assess? ICAA or CPAA? - CPAA nag-aassess sa akin and it took around 10-15 working days. Up to you.

Question po: do you guys have an idea how CPAA assess your accounting related work experience?

sa case ko kasi, I got a job December 2010 pero hindi pa ako CPA nun..I took and passed the board May 2011 and took the oath June 2011..nagresign ako from that job February 2012..
1. Macount ba yung experience from May or June 2011 until February 2012 or not?
2. If yes, Kelan magstart ung count nila? From the date dun sa board rating naten (May 2011) or date sa Certificate (June 2011)?

Guys, baka lang po alam nyo if kasama ang saturday sa count ng working days ni CPAA. I'm counting the days kasi from the time na naconfirm sila ng receipt of docs para I know when to do the follow-up. TIA!

Kasi nabasa ko sa website ng pup, need daw ng SPA if residing abroad. Or di mo nalang declared na overseas ka? - In my case ordinary authorization letter lang. I just sent a scanned copy to my representative. Try to check with your University din.

Sa notary public sa pinas ka nagpacertify? Or jan sa ibang bansa where you are located? - Sa Pinas ako nagpa-notaryo.

authorization letter ensuring your full consent with regards to your request
photocopy of identification cards (Company ID, SSS, Driver's ID or any valid IDs)

I think no need na it to be spa..

i called cpa australia today to follow-up yung result of my assessment kasi today is the 12th day from the date of submission of my docs (march 22). ang sagot sa akin, march 30 daw nila nareceive ang pte result ko so dapat daw march 30 ang start ko ng count. by next week daw may result na ako. good thing na rin kasi at least nalinawan ako sa status.

advise lang sa mga magpapa assess sa CPAA and PTE ang english test, kung di pa complete ang docs nyo for assessment, unahin nyo na irequest ang pte na magsubmit ng result ng test nyo (through your PTE account) para hindi na mag cause ng further delay.

Received my positive skills assessment result last April 13 morning. Exactly 10 working days from their receipt of complete docs. However, in relation to may employment assessment, they requested for revised COE but there was no mention where to submit the revised. May naka experience na po ba sa inyo of the same case? Do I need to pay again for this? Hope someone can help. Thanks!
