@jocarv let's pray na magreplenish or mag open ulit ng slots for Accountants this coming July 1. Kung wala na ang Accountants sa SOL, then hindi na rin makakapag submit ng EOI since requirement yung ANZSCO code sa pagsubmit ng EOI.

1. Ano mangyayari sa EOI ko na ipasa sa June kung puno na ang 2525 slots for accountants?

sana good news for us this coming financial year, sa dami ng accounting students/graduates sa Oz, lalo humihigpit kumpitensya. Ang laki na ng kita ng govt sa mga accountant, (whew)

sa ngayon, I'm doing unpaid internship as part of the requirement for PY, para lang magka 5 points grabe ang pagdadaanan

@chateu419 hi, sa CPAA ka ba nagpa assess? normally they follow their advertised time na 10-15 working days. On the 15th day and wala pa ang result mo, call them na. Mabaiit naman sila when you call them to follow-up.

share ko lang guys, i received na yung employment assessment ko last week and nakakalungkot dahil hindi nila kinonsider ang 5 years work experience ko as external auditor. So, minus 5 points ako and I just have 65 points.. Malabo pa mainvite ang mga 65 pointers in the coming rounds ng 189 so I opted to apply for state nomination and take another PTE hoping to get 20 points.

@pink sis bakit daw hindi na-consider? Usually may expanation sila sa letter if bakit. Ano ba yun nominated occupation mo? Ako may experience din ako as external auditor pero na-credit naman sa nominated occupation ko na General Accountant.

@jencandysweet ganon sis? ang nominated occupation ko is General Accountant din.. Hindi ko nga alam bakit hindi naconsider e.. baka kaya dahil sa job description ko sa COE? Parang very general kasi ang nilagay ng employer ko. Pashare naman sis ng job description mo as external auditor para macompare ko. Thanks!

@pink manghingi ka ng detailed na job description sa employer mo. Yun experience ko kasi sa external audit is wala pang one year so mostly general accounting ang experience ko. Nabasa ko din sa forum na meron external audit ang experience pero na credit ang experience dapat lang detailed yun COE and in line sa general accountant experience. @pink goodluck sis! nabawasan din ako ng points sa work at nagpare-assess. Naging positive naman at naka-add ng 5 points. Need talaga try lahat ng ways para maka-add ng points. You can apply for a review while preparing for your PTE para malaki chance. God bless!

@liracoy yun sa kin through email yun result ng CPAA. Sabay ko na-receive yun Education & employment assessment. As per their website it's 10 to 15 days. Depende siguro sa completeness ng requirements mo yun bilis ng assessment.

Fixed Asset related functions: (Fixed Asset Manager in Oracle R12)
• Reviews fixed asset additions, depreciation, retirements and transfers in Oracle
• Reviews capitalization of construction in progress (CIP) on a timely manner
• Ensures that the financial policy on property, plant & equipment is implemented including asset accountability
• Supervises and reviews the quarterly capital status report
• Reviews reconciliation of General Ledger to Oracle Fixed Asset balance monthly

Accounts Payable related functions: (AP Superuser, Invoice Approver & Payment Approver in Oracle R12)
• Reviews payables accounting entries, verifies supporting documents and validates/approves invoices in Oracle system
• Approves payment to suppliers and cash advances of employees in Oracle System
• Monitors cash advances and reviews expense reports of employees
• Verifies wire transfers and fund transfers in bank facility
• Reviews the Suppliers Information Data Sheet (SIDS) & necessary documents & invoicing requirements before enrollment to Vendor Maintenance in Oracle System
• Reviews the supplier’s invoice aging report

Accounts Receivable related functions:
• Reviews the computation technical service fee and billing invoice for customers

Tax related functions:

Hi I am from PUP below are the actual docs that I submitted on my skill assessment last Dec 2015 with CPAA. I think, it is the same naman kahit sa ibang school. You can also visit CPAA website for additional requirements if any. Normally you request the syllabus / subject description from your school and transcript if wala ka pa.

Hindi ko po sure ngayon kung iba pa po yung subject mapping/description/syllabus or pwede ko na pong gamitin yung course description.

Yun subject mapping is para lang ma group mo yun subjects mo according to core competencies na required ng cpaa. Check https://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/become-a-cpa/migration-assessment/preparing-my-documents. A simple excel will do para lang mabilis mareview yun subject description mo if na-cover ba lahat. Subject description can be submitted in lieu of syllabus.
