Kung pwede lang makahingi sa previous company of my wife a detailed COE then we would not go through the hassle of creating our own Statutory Declaration (with corresponding S$60 fee per document) - unfortunately TinaR, hindi eh. They had only issue the standard COE which included the inclusive dates of employment and last drawn salary.

And yeah, naisip na rin namin yun na magbibigay ng draft for them to review. Unfortunately, as indicated in the sample I gave above, declare that I am unable to provide an employment reference letter with detailed job scope on company letter head from XXXXXX as company policy only allows HR to provide a standard Certificate of Employment. This said document does not include any mention of my specific job scope.

Swerte ka lang cguro that you never encountered any trouble with whatsoever in your dealings with HR but sadly such is not the case for this.

I think this goes to same with the rest of the people here who needed a detailed COE but had to resort to getting a statutory declaration instead. It is not because they haven't spoken to the HR Manager and provided a draft BUT rather it is because they were given such...
Oh dear, I feel bad you. Lets just hope for the best! Kung last resort nyo na yan, wala bang email before ng job description or contract or anything na pinirmahan asawa mo before she started working for that company. No offense but I am here to help you guys minimise potential risks and whatever is on the mind of these CO. Pahirapan ngayon dahil liliitan ulit ang quota ng mga visas dahil naglipana mga pommies alam nyo na economy nila kaya as much as possible gawin nyo lahat ng pwedeng walang itatanong na iba ang CO or magtataka.

We have included naman the contract when she first started so it would help I guess. These s#its happen once in a while and I am sure, we were not the first who encountered this...

hello guys, i have already lodged my visa application (190). can i already proceed with the medicals and police clearance even if i don't have a case officer yet?
No, I suggest you wait for your CO to advise you. Don't know since when Pinoys started to recommend a "front loading" of requirements. No offense but on a yearly basis ni-rereassess yung medical practitioner and yung clinic so just to lesse yung risk na baka nagpa-medical ka ng walang advice tapos next year hindi na pala accredited pinuntahan mo edi double whammy ang gastos mo.

Be wise. This happened before in other countries and it can happen to Pinas as well. There is no harm in waiting. And once you have a CO you may ask him/her directly and I am pretty sure your CO will tell you to wait until further notice. Magpapalit ang taon always keep that in mind.

Again, no offense to others but I hope we only give realistic advice.

isa pang nakikita kong problema sa front loading of documents e mas magiging maikli ang Initial Entry Date(IED) mo kapag nagpasa ka kaagad...

1yr validity ng PCC
1 yr validity ng Meds
2yrs IELTS
2yrs ACS Assessment

kung hindi ka pa hinihingan tapos nagpasa ka agad tapos approve ka... kung kelan ang pinaka maagang expiration ng mga docs mo yun ang IED mo...

so kung nagpasa ka kagad tapos mga after 2 mos ka pa hiningan tapos ika 3rd month ka naaprove ng visa... earlier ng 3mos ang IED mo....

And the IED has nothing to do with your doc validity. Where did you get that? Did your CO tell you that? Who's your CO?

yes IEDs have something to do with your document validity...
base from experience and I've read from other forums, dyan po sila nagbabase kung kelan ang IED...

Darling please even the CO won't recommend that. Do you thing COs are fond of seeing over eager migrants?

front loading your PCC etc is not a ground para ideny ang VISA mo ng CO mo...
as long as ang document mo is legal and not fake... CO will decide on it...
hindi dahil over eager ka... of course all applicants are over eager...

I've read a lot of cases in expatforum... they front loaded their documents and they are approve din naman...

and I can use IED kasi nasa forum naman po tayo... wala naman ako mapapasabog dito hahahaha... not because you know another meaning for IED e hindi ko na pede gamitin yun sa ibang acronym di po ba?

salamat sa reply. ive read in the immi website that if you' re priority group 3 (190 holder) u can go ahead w/ medicals & pcc if no CO allocation yet in 4 weeks. but 189 holders kelangan tlga mg- antay for a CO. so the waiting game begins again...

@olan, the statutory declaration I posted is not for solely for ACS. we used that for my wife's case and she is an accountant. but there should be no problem if you used the same pattern.

curious ako boss sa case mo - you got 190 from NSW right? your waiting time to get invite was less than a week after you got positive response from NSW?

@psychoboy, accountant pla wife mo, i assumed IT din. yup NSW is quite fast in nominating you for an invite once they approve your application. i havent received the approval letter yet since they send it by post. pero they emailed me asking for my EOI and 1 week later may invite na ko to apply for 190.

actually, totoo pong hndi maiiwasan na mahirapan sa pakikipagdeal sa HR sa pinas...
nagkaproblem na din po kasi ako sa knila last year nung nagbackground check yung company ko
the thing is yung kinonfirm nilang position/title ko is ib iba sa contract na pinirmihan ko, so yung HR ng current ocmpany ko pinagexplain pa ako kung bakit ganun... buti na lng tlgang tinago ko pa yung contract ko with that company and prinovide ko as proof sa company ko

if you cant have a letter from the hr, try getting one from your colleague or immediate supervisor. one of my employers also give standard COEs but I managed to get a certificate from my former supervisor.

We have a self statutory declaration filed - as it is an audit firm, turn-over is very high... All the colleagues and immediate supervisor has either retired or moved on to another firm.

i created an affidavit instead of a stat declaration... wla kac sa law naten ang stat dec... stat dec is for australia and other countries... so a lawyer friend suggested an affidavit/statement of facts... because it is a legal document... under oath pa... so yun yung pinagawa ko sa dalawang managers ko... do you guys think this is ok?

@cchamyl requirement kc is stat dec according to acs website. hnde kc considered sa AU un affidavit. better wait for result ng acs m, nklgay nmn dun if pending un application pg kulang reqts. if 4th stage ka na ok na cguro un snubmit m. gudlak
