After RPL po, mag aapply pa ba ulit for skills assessment? O work experience na lang ang needed before mag-EOI lodging?

I am 28 po, so i still have 4 years para sa age bracket.

If i take RPL route, ok din if maacknowledge na nila work experience ko.

Pero may chance po ba na kung makapasa sa RPL, tapos makaabot ng 60pts(thru PTE ung 20 hopefully), kahit kulang pa ang work experience eh makapaglodge ng EOI?

I am just considering po ung chance na makahabol sana ngayong taon sa lodging ng EOI.

Yung RPL is isang type ng Skills Assessment. Basta kapag Non-ICT Diploma or Higher, RPL talaga kasi. I agree with @guenb, magpa-assess ka na lang as RPL. Ano ba course mo nung college?

@ajhay Yes, basta umabot ka 60pts above, puwede ka naman mag lodge ng EOI.

Ako, 25 years old (30pts) + AQF Bachelors Degree (15pts) + PTE-A Superior (20pts) = 65pts. Nag lodge na ako ng EOI for Software Engineer. Nag aantay na lang ako ng ITA. Go, try mo na mag RPL para you know where you stand tapos ma-start mo na ang process.

@ajhay Kulang na kulang ako sa work experience kasi 3 years working pa lang ako. Tapos na-deduct yung 2 years ko dahil sa ACS Skills Assessment so 1 year lang yung Skilled Employment ko. Wala ako nakuha na points doon. Bawi na lang sa PTE-A.

@ajhay kaya mu yan, just make sure at least 6years of your work experience related sa nominated occupation mo, and kahit naman rpl they will advise you magpa points advice via vetassess I think. Sila mag-assess if yung degree mu is bachelor or diploma, dagdag 15 or 10pts yun. Kahit naman ako walang makukuhang points sa experience, bawi na lng tlga sa PTE.

Add ko lang valid naman yung assessment for two years so if ever you decide to add experience one more year, no need mu na ulitin.

@guenb thank you po. Tinitingnan ko pa po yong JD ko kung papasok ba as relevant work experience.

Ano pala yong sinasabi na generic JD?
Kasi ang nakuha ko na JD is JD ng role ko. Yong pinapasign po ni HR before ka ihire. Kailangan ko pa ba magrequest na medyo ibahin format to prove na nagfufunction nga ako nong mga nasa JD ko?

Guys, so next dilemma namin is 189 or 190. Sa experience or knowledge niyo? Sapat na ba ang 65 points for 189 o matagal ang invite pag ganun? Thanks!

@thisisme1 Based on the current trend, waiting time for 65pts for 2613xx occupations is at least 1-2 months (up to 4 invitation rounds). Right now, 1 month ang backlog based sa May 25 invitation round (April 16 EOIs pa lang ang invited). If hindi ka naman nagmamadali, I suggest you wait to be invited for Visa 189.

Hindi lang natin sure kung may changes ba talaga this July once mag start ang bagong fiscal year.

Based sa mga nakita ko na signatures nyo dito, normally inaabot ng more than 10 days ang ACS results? Abang abang ako every morning, afternoon and evening, 2 days pa lang naman ako nag pass. Nakakakaba pala.

@mav14 Hello, paano niyo po nalaman na April 16 pa lang ang naiinvite? Matagal-tagal pa pala ang aantayin ko. May 19 ako nagpasa ng EOI eh.

@se29m Thanks bro for the link @chewychewbacca Just monitor the Skillselect website and check the Invitation Rounds section. Malaki na yung jump from the previous invitation rounds (May 11/Mar 19 -> May 25/Apr 16). By July, baka invited ka na for Visa 189.

@thisisme1 As long as walang doubt si CO, grant yan! Waiting game lang talaga. I don't see any reason for them to deny any applicant... basta be truthful, submit sufficient evidence and never provide false information :-)

@ajhay yung generic jd? baka you mean generic coe. Yung usually kasi mkkuha natin sa HR yung generic coe. Sample is "this is to certify that xxx is an employee of company xxx from xxxx to xxxx. He currently holds the position of xxxxx"

Yung requirement kasi ng ACS for migration assessment is iba, you can find all info here sa guidelines, plus a sample

hello po! I am from IT field and I'd like to ask paano po kau nagprepare for the Employment references? I mean, currently kc, I have employment reference na tailor fit sa job code ko (Analyst programmer), and if I want it to stand out (or ma-fit duns a job requirements), I should modify my CV.

Should I get an employment reference/COE na generic (without duties)?
Will they call ung contact person na ilalagay ko? So I need them to prepare.

Work experience ko kc blurs line sa Analyst/Developer. And kung gusto ko sanang mag-apply for BA, in case, gusto kong un ung mahighlight ko

Ano po ba pwedi ko gawin, nag pa assess ako dati sa ACS and 7yr 11months ung na credit na work experience, now ung problem ko ung isang work experience ko sa pinas kasi wala akong payslip at hindi rin hinuhulugan ung SSS ko, COE lang talaga ang hawak ko from HR.
Mag pa reassess sana ako na eremove to kasi wla akong payslip or ITR as supporting evidence, pero hindi na ito pwedi maremove.
Hinihingian ba talaga ng payslip kung my invitation kana? or ano ba pwedi gawin para hindi to masali sa reassessment ko. Plan ko mag pare assess this week.

Salamat po, baka po my same issue dito sa prob ko ngaun at maka pag advise.

@Makaryo nili-link din naman yun sa previous application, so I think lalabas pa din yun sa result mo. Contact acs na lng regarding your preference to delete yung work episode na yun

Meron po bang ECE graduate from TIP-Manila dito? Ask ko lang po sana kung sinama nyo pa rin PRC license nyo at kung hindi man, ano po results ng assessment nyo. Matagal na kasi expired at medto malaki na babayaran ko kung irerenew ko pa. Section 2 kasi school natin so i'm still thinking kung isasama license as supporting document. Thanks!

@Makaryo in our case..we did not provide ITR or payslips. Depende sa CO assigned syo.pro lahat yan meron kme..nakahanda just incase hingan..ang ala lng kme na payslip or itr ung 1st job ni hubby which is hndi din nmn counted

May nagsabi kasi sakin na 70pts na daw cut-off ngayon. Totoo ba yun? May ganung instance ba? At official na ina-announce ba yun ng immi.au?

Yung cutoff ng 2611xx and 2613xx occupations, mataas na dahil madaming applicants. Based sa current stats, 70 for BA and 65 for developers.
