Things to Do "AFTER" arriving in AU for Initial Entry only

Hi pinoyau folks, I have a question and I think some of you can help me especially ung folks na bumalik sa ibang country to work muna before the big move.. I have the same case since I need to go back to another country for work so mag initial entry muna this June.

Ano ano yung ginawa niyo on your initial entry?

1.) Do I need to file TFN?

dapat ba wag muna ako kumuha para not required to submit ITR sa end ng year? kasi global taxation si AU baka may admin stuff pako gawin for ITR medj hassle If I'm still in another country.
If magapply ako ng TFN sa mismong big move na (a year or sona fter initial entry), mas mahirap nabang kumuha ng TFN? Higher cost?

2.) Bank Account

Need ko naba magopen ng account kahit i'll be leaving AU agad?
If mag open ako sa big move, mahirap naba requirements and mas mahal?

3.) Medicare and Centrelink

Do I need to do this rightwaway? I'm single so I'm not sure if I still need to register for both of this kahit na initial entry palang.

Regarding sa TFN and Bank account, wala namang cost ang pagkuha nito. Pwede nga na online ka mag-apply although, kailangan mo ng Australian address since yung TFN mo ay ide-deliver via mail. Yung bank account naman, pwede naman na a few months before ka mag-move. Yung mga banks may mga accounts na pwede buksan habang overseas ka pero dapat malapit na sa move mo or mag-deposit ka rin agad since pag walang laman at hindi mo ma-activate agad, kino-close nila yung account.

Good day! question lang. If I understand it correctly base sa question din ng thread starter,. so once grant na visa mo, pedeng mag initial entry ka lang muna then later date nalang yung talagang permanent stay ka na dun?

and kapag na grant ka na ba gaano katagal dapat na mag initial entry ka na? is there a expiration if ever hindi ka pa nakapag initial entry?

I think yung initial entry date is dependent sa expiration nung police clearance or medical exam. So, pwede na mag-initial entry ka muna tapos aalis ka ulit and plan kung kelan yung permanent move.

@Noodles12 yes my expiry date yung initial entry at nklagay yun sa visa. Wala naman minimum days of stay as long as nkpag entry ka tlaga sa AU

Good Day to All,

This is my first time to join in this forum.

I would like to seek advise from you guys. Our Visa has just been granted this week and acccording to the Grant notification, we need to make first entry on Nov 2016.

Our plan po is to make first entry & stay there for a week then go back to PH. However, my big concern is that my daughter was required for check-up (I signed form815 for her).

Do we really need to go to BUPA even if we're just going to make a first entry? Pwede po kaya na during big move nalang mag appear sa BUPA for check-up appointment?

Has anyone tried this? THANK YOU MUCH in advance for you inputs.
