How to convert PH Driver's License to AU Driver's License?

In Qld basta Phl Driver's License is Non-Prof or Prof regardless kahit kakukuha mo pa lang yan galing LTO pwede na direct convert sa Open License. I just enrolled in a 1 hour driving lesson before ako mag take ng practical exam since kapag bumagsak ka sa practical test (one time only) thats the time na di mo na pwede gamitin yung LTO License at kelangan mo na mag learners so be careful. Yung written test naman is madali lang kahit bumagsak ka pwede ka ulit magtake kinabukasan, walang restrictions pero bihira ako makakita ng bumagsak sa written test kasi madali lang talaga marami sila leaflets na ibibigay before ka magtest.

Tip: Kuha muna kayo ng Adult Proof of Age Card (APA) if wala pa kayo Aus Drivers License para yun na lang papakita nyo sa Transport Department (including your LTO licence) instead of Passport and other proof of address documents, no hassle para na rin sya Au License

I think it cost me around $60+ and its worth it since embedded na yung address mo dun. Helpful din yung APA dun sa mga walang license, kasi valid na ID ito at mataas ang value points nya for identification.

I'll post the assessment report form na binigay sakin, just to give you idea kung ano yung mga kritikal na errors na dapat nyo iwasan during the driving test kasi by pointing system sila. Again this is only good for those who are in Queensland, hindi ko alam kung yun din ang procedure ng ibang states.

@Captain_A Lahat ata ng state nagrerelease ng ganitong id. I think meron din sila, try this link

I'm not sure sa usage ng APA card if parehas lang sa lahat ng states. Anyways, menos ID na dinadala ko since nakakuha ako ng APA card kasi nga good as valid national sya gaya ng DL.

hi! Done with the application of DL. Un nga lang RECEIPT lang .sana meroon makapag SHARE kung nag OK ung RECEIPT lang ,hndi ksi tlga available ung card. baka s 2020 pa haist! d malaman kung kelan nga ba tlaga.

@DreamerA ako din kakarenew ko lang ng Phil DL yesterday. Talagang provisional receipt pa lang daw muna ang release. But I inquire if papano gagawin if gagamitin abroad like Australia. Ang sabi sa akin ng releasing officer, present lang daw sa kanila ulit ang flight ticket pa AU at visa grant notice letter then iru-rush nila ma ID at least a week before your flight. Hope di sila sabit sa info nila.

hello guys! tanong ko lang, totally 0 knowledge ako sa driving, and currently working in Singapore..ano po ang options ko para maka-kuha ng driving license sa Oz? Pinas license or SG license, then convert to AU? Totally no idea po, salamat sa makakapag-advise..

if you can avail sg license mas ok kaso start ka ata from start, di ko sure how long bago maging full license yun.. pero once my sg DL kana mas madali sya convert to Oz DL..

alternatively, pwede ka kuha ng PH DL then convert to Oz DL

@DreamerA meron na. I already renewed my DL sa LTO but still in receipt paper form. Wala dapat singilin si LTO as it is our right to have the ID - so no extra fees

nabasa kona yung lahat ng pages pero nalito ako dahil iba iba ang req ng bawat state kaya tanong ko na lng dito. base sa nabasa ko sa NSW valid for 3 months ang PH license natin sa Au upon entry, confirm ko tama ba pagkakaintindi ko na pwede ba na yung 2 exam ba yun pa lang makuha within 3months and then pag natapos na 3 months ko at di pa nakapag actual exam magiging Learners yung permit ko.....back to start ba ibig sabihin nyan? o basta naka pag take ka nung 2 exam at actual na lang pending mo ok lang kahit lumagpas ka ng 3 months as long as di k nmn magdrive magisa tapos pag nakapasa na sa actual exam diretso full license?

para kasing alanganin ako sa 3 months lang given na hahanap pako work muna pagkadating so limited funds pa lang din...pero at the same time nanghihinayang ako sa PH DL ko na mabalewala siya at mag back to zero ako sa license sa NSW.

bakit ka manghihinayang sa PH DL mo kung dito ka naman magstay nang matagal isa pa useless din yan after 3 months nang stay mo kung PR ka need mo talaga magconvert mas mahirap magdrive nang walang lisensya kesa naka learners ka

natural lang back to zero ka pero yung fundamentals nang driving for sure meron kana nun kailangan mo lang kabisahin sistema ng state na magstay ka

bastat ang sistema 3 months PH DL valid

so for 3 months practice ka driving hindi naman siguro everyday may interview ka

kung confident kana in 2 months kuha ka nang knowledge exam

after nun pwede kana magbook nang driving assessment pag pasado bayad ka lang license for 5 years done.

I meant nanghihinayang ako sa ease na mabibigay ng pagkakaron ko ng PH DL na more than 3 years na. Kasi tama ba, sabi dito kapag PH DL na diretso na full license basta makapasa sa exams. Kapag kasi diko natake yung mga exams within 3 months, pagkakaintindi ko magiging back to zero yung pagapply ko ng license sa NSW kumbaga hindi na pwede na full agad syempre simula ulit dun sa hindi pwede magdrive alone at dapat may ksama na naka full license. tama di ba?

need mo pumasa knowledge exam

after nun ka lang pwede magbook nang driver assessment exams hahanapin sayo yung exam mo from the knowledge exam tapos pag after nun pumasa ka sa actual on the spot igagawa ka driver's license.

yung reality 1hour ang driver assessment exam pero usually nagiging 15 - 30 minutes depende kung makita agad sayo or naassess agad nung instructor na worthy ka ipasa.
