Hello! I need some insights on how to transition from Visa 457 to PR. Is it possible to be nominated by South Australia for visa 190 with Cook as the skilled occupation?

Hi, my brother converted to PR from 457 through the employer nomination scheme.
If your job code is Cook, SA can sponsor you but under 489 Visa only, not 190.

I think NSW sponsors your job code under visa 190. I think si @pinoysg cook ang job code nya.

Will your employer sponsor you for PR? if yes, you can apply for visa 186 or 187 depending on where you are working (regional or not). You may need to talk to your employer to sponsor you. Once you lodged your visa, you are automatically eligible to have medicare.

@reynanpmanuel1986 hello po. Check mo po dapat 60 points kayo. may points calculator po para ma weigh mo. Then mag IELTS or PTE po kayo then assessment sa skills po. Slowly but surely lang po and in time everything will be ok by Gods grace. Basa2x kayo process. Hopefully maging ok rin to samin application. hehe

SA nga ang tumatanggap ng occupation mo.

First you need to submit application sa TRA and geg a positive assessment then you must ensure to get the minimum 60 points para mkapag lodge ng EOI (expression of interest)

Under state sponsorship visa 190 mabibigyan ka ng 5 points so at least mka produce ka ng 55 points ok na. Pero the higher the better hindi ako sure sa nominated occupation mo if ok na ba ang 60 points - meron kasing mga occupation na nag rerequire ng higher points pra ma invite ka.

For now, prepare mo muna docs mo for assessment.

@StarJhan Salamat ng marami sa response..dami naeeducate and natutulunga nyo guys at ng forum na to.. another question.. ive been doing some research for a while now regarding how to submit a assessment to TRA for me to be evaluated however cant get a clear cut on how to do so.. may be you can enlighten me regarding the processes for TRA and how much will it cost.. thanks.

nandyan lahat ng information, 1k AUD ung assessment. Based sa exp ko, make sure lang na yung COE mo related sa ICT Cust Support and makapag provide ka ng enough evidence for paid employment like payslips & tax assessment. Ang ginawa ko per year ang evidence ko, so far naging ok naman.

@IslanderndCity @StarJhan ask lang po ako, kasi yung NBI same as @Winnie2016 pinakuha ko sa pinas at pina scan para ma upload. Na notice kolang na merong field konti below sa face mo sa NBI na signature. Ok lang bah e upload na walang signature or kailangan talaga meron kasi medyo matagal pa dadating if ever eh. Thanks

@Rewell saan ka kumuha ng NBI? Meron signaturr below our photos sa nbi cert namin. O dont kno2 if standard yun. Pero i suggest submit mo na lang if ano meron ka kasi sa NBI din nmn galing yan.
