Applying for AU Citizenship soon but Passport about to expire

  What is the problem?
  
  As as I know, passport is not a requisite naman in citizenship application.
  
  The worst that can happen is you will be stuck here in Australia whilst waiting for either a new PH passport or your AU passport after taking the oath of allegiance.
