Is there a specific state na malaki ang chance na makahanap ng ganitong work?

I'm 33 yrs old and working here in SG for 5 years with a total of 8 years work experience in my profession (construction site). Nababasa ko lng kasi sa mga ads na more on civil works ang hiring nila for civil engineers. In my case, nalilinya kasi ako s building construction. Sana may makapagbigay sakin ng idea with regards s field ko when it comes to job hunting once nandyan na s OZ.

    Maraming salamat po.

yeah for permanent resident at citizen talaga yan. nagkakataon kumukuha sila ng overseas skilled worker kapag walang match sa local na hinahanap nila na qualified o walang qualified at nagtakataon na may qulaified na galing sa ibang bansa yun minsan ang kinukuha nila lalo na kapag kailangan nila agad ng worker. usually ang nakukuha dyan mga minimum of 5 years work experience at the same skilled na hinahanap nila. Ako direct hire at almost 10 years working experience in the philippines bago ako naka punta dito. Nagkataon kasi nung 2008 wala masyadong qualified sa mga nag apply kaya they decide to look for overseas. Nakita yung resume ko naka post sa job site at tinwagan nila ako agad tinanung ako kung ako mapipilikung gusto ko daw ba pumunta ng australia sabi ko "yes". then mga ilan buwan bago nila ako ulit tinawagan at napili daw ako at inaasikaso na daw ang 457 visa ko. haggang sa tuluy tuloy na...then ngayun Permenent resident na ako dito after 3 years been here.

kaya mahirap at tyempuhan na ngayun ang pagkuha sa iyo ng Australian employer. kailangan may ilan years of work experience at dapat match ang qualification ang hinahanap nila. kung match ang qualification mo gawa ka ng cover letter na your looking for sponsor to apply for 457 working visa so that they will know kahit wala kang rights mag apply at nakita naman na qualified ka baka magisip sila na sponsoran ka. cheers

Thanks for the info....but there's a possibility that the visa will not be granted if the applicant doesn't meet the standard requirement kahit nakapagbayad na po?

South Australia sponsored sya under 475 visa, pero lumipat sya sa Victoria (regional area) after 6 months. Therefore, kung gusto mong lumipat ng other state (as long as regional yun), magpaalam ka lang sa sponsorsing state mo at papayagan ka naman daw nila. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Hi. newbie here and have just joined the site.
    Lately after working here in SG for almost 4 years and 6 years in the Philippines, I plan to migrate in Australia hopefully. Have check Australian website and nakakapagbasa na rin about GSM 175 visa which I think the right visa and applicable for me. Industrial Engineering course but experience is QA engineer. Currently I have a friend there also advising me what are the reqt's needed.Question is do I need to have an agent or just process it online application na lang on australians gov website after completing all the reqt's?. Nabasa ko kasi after completing all your docs, can do it online and no need for agent.Another question is how long is the processing of aplication from start of lodge ng application. If ever start ka na lodge application, you need to pay na right?(correct me i am wrong). Is there a guarantee na papasa ka ba?How about the payment you have initially give pag di ka pumasa?.Looking forward po for all your replies.Thanks a lot=}

@iangrace, considering you have a friend already there and you have a library of reference thru this website, I am sure you can lodge your 175 visa on your own.

Marami option para makapasok ng Australia: General Skilled 175, Temporary Residence, State Sponsored...or Employer Sponsored (which is ideal in any situation), basa basa ka muna ng pinaka babagay sayo :)

You can do it without agent. Just read EA and DIAC booklet #6 over and over again for you not to miss something. If you are aiming for visa 175 then, start reviewing IELTS to get band 7 across all test components. With 10 yrs experience, and below 39 yrs of age, you can apply for 475 (state sponsorship regional) if your IELTS band is only 6.

Try mo din maghanap ng state sponsorship. Mas mabilis ang processing nun compared sa 175. :)

    Hi Everyone!

I am a newbie in this forum. I would just like ask if someone here knows a company in Australia that can sponsor a visa for me. I have been working in the Philippine Call Center Industry for more than 3 years (collectively) now.

    Thank you,

hehehe other people were also looking for a company that can sponsor visa, but I'm afraid its hard to find one nowadays, not unless your profession is in demand in OZ like those in the mining industry.
