Attach a copy of the SkillSelect Expression of Interest (EOI) record of response which shows the personal, education, English and employment details submitted?

You can actually generate a copy of your EOI in pdf format from SkillSelect. I can't remember how pero that's what I attached to my application for SS. It shows all the details you keyed in on SkillSelect.

Hi um on visa 489 as well and would like to ask kung lumabas ako ng aus for holiday less than a month hindi ba nila icoconsider un sa 2yrs stay ko.. like kelangan ba full 2yrs nasa aus ako.

ok lang na you go on a holiday less than a month. it won't affect the counting of your 2 years stay.

I was just granted 489 visa (family sponsored). Ang nag sponsor saken is my cousin who is from Victoria. My question is regarding to my Initial Entry, required ba na sa Victoria din ako mag Initial Entry? OR Pwede anywhere sa AUS, for example sa Sydney? Thanks!

depends @czams
when we applied and all docs were in, it was just about 2.5 mos. check allocation dates published by DIBP and correlate them with dates published in forums so you get a sense of how long it will take for you. all the best!

@misisv nag-lodge ako 3rd week of September I think. Then 2 weeks ago meron nang result. For the completion of docs mabilis lang. Yung NBI clearance lang bale nagpatagal saken kasi meron akong kapangalan. 2weeks I guess dumating yung EOI ko nakapglodge na ako ng Visa.

question po: Balak ko po kasi maglodge ng VISA 489 for Northern Territory (Darwin) via Relative Sponsorship. Need ko pa ba magpresent ng Proof of Funds? Medyo malaki kasi Proof of Funds ni Darwin.

Yes, ung relative ko ang nagpasign tapos iniscan lang nia and sinend nia scanned copy sakin. Alam na un nung relative mo sa Aus kung san siya maghahanap ng magwiwitness sa stat dec.

Hi guys, magtatanong lang po regarding designated areas for 489, naka indicate sa website na "anwhere except Sydney, Newcastle ans Wollongong" for NSW, ibig sabihin ba nun reatricted ka mag work at live sa city na namentioned? If sa Penrith nakatira ung Uncle ko allowed ba ako mag stay and work sa area na un?

Lodged 31 Jul and granted last week. I think Sept applications ang allocated at this time so it's just almost 3 months wait for you

Penrith is still in Sydney, so hindi sya considered as regional area. Here are the participating regional areas of NSW:

Seven regions in NSW participate in NSW's 489 program. These are:

Far South Coast
Mid North Coast
Murray
Northern Inland
Orana
Riverina
Southern Inland

Hi. I would appreaciate if anyone could shed some info on my case.

I am currently working in regional Victoria for 3 months already as an RN. I am looking into applying for 489 since kulang ako sa points for 189 or 190. 50 points lang ako so i need the extra 10 sa regional.

1. What is the current waiting time for EOI and processing time once it's lodged? I understand that it varies so just a rough idea.

2. Ano po yung conditions ng 489? Like ilan years dapat ako mg work and stay sa regional? Permanent part time ako since October so im not sure if counted na yun or mg start ng count pgk grant ng 489.

2 years living in regional area with at least a year of fulltime work. Can't you do ielts and score 8 in all bands (if you haven't gotten already) or get points for previous work experience (at least 5 for a year's work experience) to directly apply for 189? You're very qualified as an RN. All the best and happy new year!

Hi ask ko lng sa mga nag lodge na ng 887, meron ba na 6 months na but still in progress? Nag lodge ako july 10 then requested further docu October 10. All requested docu uploaded October 12 but till now in progress pa rin ang status ng application namin. Im transitioning from 489 family sponsor to 887

so magaapply na kami. ego na, we cannot lodge online and always nageerror, so i had called the immigration and was queued for more than an hour sa line... never give up ika nga. after so many attempts, i had an immig officer who assisted me. so after number of phone calls and emails, they have advised na kaya nag error is dahil secondary applicant si hubby now applying to be primary. system glitch na natapat samin kasi meron naman band applicants na secondary na nag primary ok naman. so to cut short, they advised us to lodge manually instead and gave us an email ad where we can send all our documents.

we submitted our scanned docs with all the application papers via email and got a message na "due to the volume of email they are receiving, they can only respond to our email after the 28 days due". so we know na matatagalan talaga. we submitted july 30, 2016 then after exactly 1 month, august 30 nakareceive kami email from the immiv stating na nalodge na nils application naming with the confirmation email and the bridging visa.

although alam naming na magstart pa lang young count naming ng 6 months that day, at lama naming na matatagalan pa masaya na din kami kasi may bridging visa na kami and we can now apply for medicare. so hinayaan na naming. ayaw na mina naming isipin kasi matagal pa naman.

but to our surprise, after 6 days, last sept 6, i received an email stating na granted na visa namin. PR na kami. it was the happiest day for us kasi finally makakamove na kami sa city. then we learned na ibat iba talaga cases. kahit na sabihin na 6 months processing pa yan, it can either be longer or shorter. and applying for visa 887 are all different cases. like our case, we go manual lodging unlike young mga kakilala naming ditto na online lodging.

there are situations that are easy and some are harder. but the most important thing is never give up. always remember that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

I was about to call when my co emailed me asking for my wife police clearance. Wla p sya 1 yr dito when i lodge our application. Anyway, mag comply n lng since madali lng naman afp clearance. Got a reply from afp that the cert will be posted next business day so Monday pa. I hope wala na medical.
