Hello po sa lahat,

Just want to inquire po kung sino rito ang nag wo-work in a Startup sa Sydney or Melbourne or Australia in General. ? I just want to understand, kung how much ang salary range , perks, leaves culture and even tax for a startup employee. We are planning to move by this year to AU from Singapore. I'm currently working in a startup company here in SG. Na start na po ako maghanap and some of the companies I tried to apply were startups. I don't know if its a good move ba or risky, please advise.

Thanks po.

Cheers,

hi @tagabukid, from what I read and heard ang startup risky. Meron akong nakausap na recruiter before na gusto akong i-recommend sa isang startup company in MEL. Ung isang description nya sa company parang ganito: "Even though this is a startup, the company is funded and can offer competitive salaries for successful applicants".

The reason kaya ko nasabing "startup-like" kasi halos bago lang sila sa business, 2015 sila nagstart, at least from what I read. Masama pa dito ang salary namin is given monthly, even worse naka-part time work ako sa kanila. Even more worse, walang bayad ang overtime.

I personally don't recommend startups, but I also want to be part of one. I think if you have huge savings to use as backup income yes i-try mo startup.

I also personally want to create my own startup, gusto kong gumawa ng app na mas-accurate sa PTV at tramTracker. :)
Anyways, good luck sa job hunting!
