Up ko lang po yung question ko from another thread; baka merong makatulong. Thanks!

may nakapag-try na ba using BPI credit card kahit lagpas sa credit limit? so far same yung sagot ng branch na pinuntahan ko and ng hotline: possible daw na ma-reject yung transaction kahit pondohan ko yung credit card (para tumaas yung available limit).

i have the funds on my BPI savings account; ayaw ko lang muna sanang ipang-overpay kung hindi pa sure na pwede.

@biboy329 Parang I've read in another thread na gumamit sila ng BPI card, they paid in excess to their account para magkapondo and they were able to use it to pay for their visa. Try searching this forum. Ako, I did the same thing with my Citibank CC naman and it worked to pay for our visa fees.

salamat @auitdreamer! so far ung mga nabasa ko kasi, they used HSBC and BDO ata. wala ako makitang BPI ginamit hehe.

medyo kinakabahan ako gawin kasi medyo malaki yung amount (6300aud at least)

so wait, overpay muna bago ko submit yung application? or submit muna then kapag pumasok, tsaka ako mag-overpay?

Mag overpay ka muna and make sure na magreflect na sa account mo as credit yung overpayment before submitting/paying for your application.

@rami , yes mabait boss ko dito,.

nung kumuha ako ng SG PCC, kelangan ko umabsent isang araw para makapunta sa SG for fingerprinting and collection. pumayag sya at since isang araw lang yun, alis ng umaga balik sa gabi, sya mismo nag suggest na i sick leave ko na lang para hindi masayang yung sickleave credits ko. okay lang din daw na malate ako pagpasok ko next day since alam nya na 4am kinabukasan yung arrival ko sa Darwin airport galing Changi, hindi na din kelangan ng medical ceritificate. hehe

ayaw ko lang ay nagmumukha ako secretary minsan kasi wala siya secretary ako gumagawa ng admin task nya. lol

@delorian , nope hindi ako nag pa follow up, madami pa din kasi sa Immitracker na mas nauna pa saken pero hanggang ngaun wala pa din grant.. siguro pag march na at wala pa saka ako mag follow up dahil ma eexpire na 457visa ko by april.. pero may Bridging Visa naman ako na mag aactivate once ma expire 457 ko tapos wala pa yung PR visa.

@auitdreamer diba pwedeng mgpa extend ng temporarily ng credit line pra safe. Alam ko pwede sya itawag tapos mg guarantee ng payment sa portion na i temporary increase. Idea ko lang naman ito kasi ginagawa namin yan sa accounting for corporate cards. I'm not sure if it can apply sa personal card. Citibank yung corp card though.

@aisleandrow I inquired that din sa Citibank kaya lang it takes time to request for a credit increase and wala atang temporary lang. You'd have to provide docs, etc. Yung nakausap ko mismo sa Citibank recommends overpaying pa rin.

Maybe you can also try calling BPI again. Minsan depende sa kausap yan eh hehehe! Baka hindi lang nya alam.

Citibank ginamit namin. Call their hotline. Nag aallow sila mag overpayment, kaso bago mo iswipe call them first para ma waive nila yung (something) at di ma report as fraud yung transaction.

Smooth yung transaction, ang sakit lang kasi nadale kami sa conversion hehe medyo higher than what we expected, pero magagamit ang Citibank. Mga 5K yung additional charge sa amin (me and one dependent)- conversion and cc fees.
