Hi po, question regarding the 1 year live in requirement. Kasi po nag start ako tumira sa bahay ng partner ko kasama family nila last March 2016 pa. Ngunit napalipat ko lang ang bills ko nung August 2016 (nung nag decide kami na mag apply ng Aus visa). Hindi na po ako nagpalipat ng billing address dati kasi nakatira pa din naman ang parents ko dun sa luma at naka subscribe na ako sa e-statement so hindi na kailangan na makuha ko mismo yung bill.

Kapag po ba nag EOI na ako, dapat August 2017 pa talaga yung earliest na pwede ako mag-apply para masatisfy yung 1 year requirement? Dahil yun yung document na may date kung kailan ako lumipat? Or pwede po kaya ang affidavit ng mga family members ng partner ko na kasama namin sa bahay? Icoconsider kaya yun? Yung joint account namin medyo bago lang rin dahil okay naman kami before na separate yung accounts namin, pero tumutulong kami sa bills sa bahay nila (na hindi din nakapangalan samin).

@pinoytalker pare di na pwede isabit sa visa 189 mo si gf. partner visa na talaga paraan.

Good day! I would like to ask for help and clarifications. I'm a chemical engineer and my partner is a mechanical engineer. We were advised by a friend na gawin na lang dependent yung isa. So, nagdecide kami ni partner na ako na lang yung primary applicant. Tama ba na visa 189 nga applyan namin? And ako na lang din kukuha ng ielts at magpapaassess sa Engineers Australia? Thanks! @gillianLeoh2017 if pareho kayong skilled/engr, and nasa SOL, I suggest both kayo mag IELTS and magpa assess sa EA for the additional 5 partner points. Whoever gets the higher ielts score, or EA result will be primary, the other will contribute an addtl 5 pts as skilled partner. That's what we did

hello po, meron ba dito na nag file ng de facto while still married sa ex pero hiwalay na at hindi nagpapa annul pa.. please advise po, wala pa kasi pampa annul since both of us are married sa ex namin then kami more than a year na nagsasama...

Hello po! Question po regarding sa statutory declaration/affidavit. Me and my partner are currently based here in SG. Ask ko ln g po kung ok lng na sa Pinas ipa notarize un mga affidavits na issubmit ( including un galing sa friends namin) or dapat dito rin sa SG?

@pidiong09 on a general note, affidavits should be signed by the person making the declaration infront of the lawyer/notary public. so i guess that depends kung nasaan ung mga witnesses na magstat dec for you.

@studio719 is correct, normally the lawyers require the presence of the person signing the declaration. Im just not sure kun sa pinas e madali magpanotaryo but in sg, they wont acept it unless kasama ung mag sign nung declaration.

Thanks @studio719! We are on a same sex de facto relationship kasi so ang concern ko lng baka magkaproblema kasi as far as I know hindi sya accepted here in SG.

@Xiaomau82 Sa pinas pwede kahit wala un nagsign. Ang concern ko ksi is baka magkaproblema if here s SG papanotaryo kasi we are on same sex relationship and as far as I know hindi sya accepted here in SG.

Indi man sia accepted dito sa sg pero ang trabaho nmn kasi ng notary public lawyer is to attest ung declaration na sign dito sa singapore, I think its safer if u can get it notarised sa embassy natin than sa pinas.

@KimBokJoo @Noodles12 we applied for partner visa and we're married but I would assume na same lang for de facto relationships.

in our case, we provided personal stat declaration and had it witnessed by a justice of peace. dun sa stat dec namin, I put it in bullet points yung history ng relationship namin - when and where we met, pano na develop ang relationship, kelan kami nagpakasal and how is our setup as a married couple. just simply be honest. our stat dec is just one page bulleted list.

then i also provided joint bank statement, photos, travels, airfare tickets together compiled in pdf , and form 888 from two friends, viber chat and fb messenger history screenshots. yun lang. ung form 888 pala, ako na din nag bigay ng brief summary na pwede isulat ng friend para mas mapadali sa kanila. as long as true ang statement.. nothing to worry naman.

another question po, bale magkasama po kasi kame sa rented apartment since 2015. The apartment is owned by my grandmother, but yung contract is under sa partner ko lang na name. We moved to a condo na binili namen nung Dec. 2016. Will it be enough proof na may statement from my grandmother (landlady) na yung apartment is under my partner's name but aware sya na magkasama kame sa apartment?

khit wala n kyo statutory declaration, just get NBI clearance for both of you na same kayo ng addresses. And provide din kyo ng billing statements nyo na sa inyo nkapangalan, it means prehas kyo ng inuuwian @KimBokJoo

@KimBokJoo sa finances, kung meron kayo joint account mas mabilis lang kayo maapprove, patunay yun na ngsshare kyo ng gastos.. kung meron kayo credit cards at supplementary ung isa much better

Hi @tiggeroo, for subclass 189, if I main applicant is claiming for 5 pts partner skills, yung bayad is only $3600 (main applicant), di na babayaran yung $1800 (dependent)?

@KimBokJoo we had the same case. i'm currently renting an apartment na nasa pangalan ko lang. hindi ko na pinresent un tenancy agreement. un mga joint savings account na lang ang pinresent ko at statutory declaration namin about our relationship.

@KimBokJoo yup hindi ako nag submit ng tenancy agreement. meron mga questions sa application about your current living arrangement.. you can explain in detail ano un arrangement nyo. like how the bills are split between the couple. pwede mong i detail na the rent is being paid by you and you can present a bank statement and the utility bills are paid by your partner. sample lang. basta be honest. it shows na you are sharing a life together.

for me since we are just married for one year.. i submitted mostly pictures of our travel and wedding. and also mga pics with friends while dining/going out. wala ako masyado submit na mga shared assets kasi wala pa kami.
