Nursing 1 yr conversion program

Hello po sa mga nag 1yr conversion program. After po ba nito madali kayo nakahanap ng work?kung next year kaya pumasok ng conversion program okay pa kaya maghanap ng work? May 4 yrs experience na po.sana may magreply po.ty!

Sa case ng sister ko, she had to wait for her PR to be employed. While waiting, she enrolled herself in a cheap business course for work rights.

Ang work hindi kusang nagpapakita, kailangang hanapin sa sitwasyon ngayon. Pero hindi pa rin nila tinatanggal yung nursing sa SOL kasi madaming nagreretire. May mga areas na madaming nurses especially mga locals, meron naman na wala masyadong local nurses kahit na malaki yung demand.

I suggest I weigh mo yung visa side and work rights and subsequent visa at kung gusto mong umuwi after o hindi. May sponsor ka ba o hindi? Kaya ba ng budget? Ano ba yung goal mo, working visa muna, temporary graduate visa ba o agad na permanent visa. Kung permanent visa naman, ano ba skilled independent o nominated. Lalo na kung wala ka padito, para madami kang points na makuha, especially may points for regional areas, studies of greater than 2 years.

Depende na sa yo kung gusto mo ba practical, gusto mo ba matipid, gusto mo ba madali...

Hi, sorry if nasagot na question na toh dati but I was wondering if need ba ng hospital experience for the 1yr conversion sa deakin? According kc sa consultancy ko iaassess pa qualifications ko if for 1 yr or 2yrs bachelors. I'm a registered nurse but non-practicing and i graduated way back 2007 pa. May nakapag deakin 1yr bachelors na ba na walang hospital experience?

@chin may kakilala ako. after graduate and PRC registration sa pinas, fly to aus sila agad so no hospital experience and they got the 1 year conversion. un lang is the recency of nursing education. sayo kasi 2007 pa po. try nyo nlng pa assess sa deakin.

sa deakin ka din ba @kymme? actually iniisip ko din yang tuition kaya the best padin sana kung makakapasok sa 1 yr lng. still waiting for deakin 2 weeks ng waiting,. hoping for the best! 2 mos ka na pla diyan oz kamusta school and everyday life?

Hi, may offer na po from Deakin University (1 year conversion program Bachelor of Nursing) plus 10 weeks English Course. Kaso Sept 24 na agad start date, abot pa kayo ako if this week palang ako mag lodge ng visa. Nagulat ako sa start date, kulang pa ako requirements. Thank you.

Hi @kymme got my assessment today,. Hinahanapan ako ng min 6mos experience ng deakin for the 1yr conversion, if not for 2 yrs na ako.. Since mas cheaper tuition ng 2yrs ng La Trobe university, I might apply there instead.

Hi @neajannayla according sa mga nabasa ko na thread iba iba tlga processing time sa visa granting. Anong agency mo? Better tell them about it so that maka lodge na kayo asap and let's hope for the best! If I'm not mistaken for the English course ung Sept 24 and the nursing course will start March pa.. Worst case scenario is if nde ka Naka abot sa English course this Sept 24 due to delayed visa grant, retake the IELTS and try to hit the all 7 pra no need na for the English course kc baka ma delay start mo sa March.

It dependes if you are talking about visa or school requirements. For visa, yes. For registration, yes. For the school, you will have to ask them that.

Anu po ba requirements for conversion program? Kasi graduate po ako ng nursing at naging rn ng 2011, kaso til now wala pa pong nursing experience. Pwede po kaya ako sa conversion?

Newbie here po. Hingi lang ng konting enlightenment. Hehe. Nag consult po kasi ako sa agency and parang hesitant sila to handle me / help with the bridging program kasi last work ko sa hospital nung 2012 pa (3yrs hosp exp btw). More than 5 yrs na halos so gusto nila mag balik hosp ako which is not an option for me. They gave me another option which is the graduate diploma in nursing. Is this equivalent sa conversion program o iba pa? Ano pa kayang path ang pwede? Di na ba talaga pwede mag bridging if more than 5 yrs ka na wala sa hosp?

@waifgirl hi po ako din naman 5 yrs na since last work ko as a nurse. may mga school naman na tatanggap bachelor in nursing course for 2 years nga lang. I understand bat ganyan ang advice ng agent mo, kase sa visa application tayo mahihirapan mapprove ang GTE. na deny ang application ko dahil jan, but Im trying to reapply again. sabi ng agent ko bago daw mag reapply mag work muna as a nurse ulet, which is not applicable din kase sa tagal ko na nawala sa nursing field nakalimutan ko na halos lahat. heheh. so i went to another agent, and now naghahanap na kami ng ibang skul na tatanggap sakin.

@waifgirl hi girl. hesitant sila kasi need ng recency of practice. dpat nkpag nurse ka within the last 5 years. GTE is genuine temporary entrant. like yung purpose mo is study lang in australia. you have to make them believe na pupunta ka lang to study. you email unis naman and ask them for their requirement for the conversion course. try mo din yung mga free education agents. ako, IDP ako. wala ako bayad sa kanila. pinakain ko lng ng jco nung ma grant visa ko haha.

@frappz karamihan direct grant naman. unless may complication sa application. yung kakilala ko face to face interview yung ni require.

hello meron po talaga face to face?! hala paano yun nangyari as in sa embassy mismo po? nakasagot naman siya sa harap ng consul??

@IntApp rare cases lng nmn yun. yung kanya kasi dala nya buong family tas may adopted ata cla bsta complicated yung case kya pinatawag. usually nmn, direct grant or may mga konting additional docs lng. pray lng at ma grant din yun

@anonymousprincess may schools na tatanggap ng 6.5 to do the conversion. depnde sa school. tapos need mo mg all 7 or equivalent when you are about to register with ahpra na
