Hi TS, bago lang ako sa forum buti binump mo tong thread na to, since nagregister ako sa forum na to naghahanap na ko ng mga reference tungkol s mga electrician na nagapply ng PR sa Oz (although halos lahat ng research ko eh tungkol sa mga policies).

RME ako dito sa pinas graduate ng 2 yrs tech voc (section 3 ung school), 5 years na akong nagtatrabaho pero yung recent employment ko lang ata ang pwede kong magamit pang claim ng points. 3 yrs. 5 mos. ako sa huli kong work, ang nature ng work ko ay testing and commissioning ng substation equipment tska mga protection relay, pagdevelop ng SCADA tsaka panel wiring. Kakaresign ko lang nung feb, di ko na kasi gusto yung kalakaran, sa ngayon waiting ako sa mga references na rinequest ko (CoE w/ JD tska SSS payment), hopefully mameet yung mga nasa guidelines.

Nagsearch ako kung saang Anzsco kung anong occupation ang pwede kung inominate, mukang pwede ako sa Electrical Engineering Technician (312312), Electrician General / Special Class (341111/341112). Wala pa kong napagtatanungan na makakapagconfirm kung alin sa mga to ang suitable sakin.

Ang plano ko since nung malaman ko na pwede palang idelay ang pag settle sa Oz basta maactivate ang PR status ay ganito: Magpa assess ako sa TRA thru MSA under engineering technician tapos pag nakapasa at nakakuha din ng 20 points worth sa english test eh magaapply na ko ng visa, iactivate ko muna ung visa after magrant tapos ipon muna pang settle. Pag may pang settle na, punta na ko sa Oz tapos tsaka ako magpa assess sa TRA thru TRS as electrician para makakuha ng OSTR/temporary license. Nagsearch kasi ako ng mga job ads specially sa current line of work ko, nagrerequire sila ng

Sa ngayon ang hawak ko lang ay generic CoE na may konting JD na ang purpose ay pang board exam, ITR ng 3 years, payslip pero di kumpleto, tska certificate of clearance. If worst comes to worst, uubra kaya tong mga to sa mga assessor?

@snooky hello.. magstart pa lang kami mag apply and hilo na ako kakahanap ng thread for electrican general.

Confused kasi kami pano ang skills assessment. Thru TRA-OSAP pero need ng practical assessment nito sa austrial mismo.

Or pwede bang thru TRA-MSA muna? Kasi pang lito yung clause na ::

"You do not apply for the MSA Program if you are:

an applicant from a specified country of passport and occupation, which requires a skills assessment under the Offshore Skills Assessment Program.

.."

Patulong naman. Hindi makausad sa kakaisip ng paraan eh.

Pwede din naman kami sana under EA electrical engineer kaso mas mataas occupation ceiling ng electricians so we assume mas mataas chances for invitation. What you think? Appreciate any feedback.

@snooky may kilala akong electrician. Experience nya ay sa barko (seaman). Nakatourist visa sya ngayon dito Melbourne. Any advice/tips or next steps para magkaworking visa sya? Thank you in advance!
