KOKOS International or other agents?

IntAppIntApp ManilaPosts: 104Member
Hi everyone, can you please share your experiences here with me.
I am still in dilemma if magprocess na ako ng student visa since nung 2015 nagIELTS na ako and prepared naman na documents ko. Kaya lang I was not able to reach the required band score sa program na gusto ko and si Fortrust po ako before nagpapaconsult.
Sadly, umalis na dun yung counselor ko (Sir Mon) and parang pinabayaan na ako nung mga naiwan na counselors :( may pagkaOC kasi ako so I want everything to be perfect as much as possible pagdating sa documents.
Willing naman ako to retake the IELTS pero parang nadiscourage na nila ako. So naghanap ako mga friends na magstudent visa, and found a few, one is umalis na siya kahapon papunta Aussie. He highly recommended KOKOS International kaya nagpaschedule agad ako ng consultation by next week. So far okay naman sila. I just want to know if meron na ba may bad experience sa agents dito? Kasi ayoko na maulit yung nangyari before kay fortrust :( salamat sa mga magcomments po!

    Hi!

We have the same situation. i did go to firtrust first pero parang im not satisfied with their service now na wala na si Mon. Currently i am talking to an agent from KOKOS sydney, she's a filipina and i knew her way back nung nag try din ako to consult thru AMS Global. so far I am ok naman with her and it helps na nandun siya and she's also giving me helpful tips.

btw, are you going for the July 2017 intake?

Hello! Wow nice to know po na pareho pala tayo ng situation and pareho din under kay Sir Mon :) yun nga po eh very frustrating lang talaga kasi nawala na si sir mon and siya lang talaga halos nakakaalam ng mga isasagot sa akin. I am praying to be accepted for Nov 2017 intake and hppefully maggrant ng visa!

    Hi All,

I'm currently processing my school application to University of Melbourne and I found out that they (unimelb) don't entertain direct applications. All applicants must undergo education agent. I'm currently looking for TRUSTWORTHY and RELIABLE education agency. I'm curious about KOKOS and I found out that they are partnered with almost all the universities and private colleges all across Australia. AND... i thought they're only processing student visa to Australia pero they also process pala NEW ZEALAND student visa.Good thing also is they have Auckland office (im also considering AUT kasi) I will go there next week, maybe Monday. I'll give you guys feedback. Sana maging okay yung consultation.

    Thanks :)

@Folgers yes please let us know, kasi right now I am talking from an agent sa KOKOS sydney, she was from a agency din here in makati before and now andun na siya as an educ counsellor din. I am curious with their Manila counterpart kasi I am also considering NZ. currently weighing pro and cons between the 2 country. :)

@ireenval Have you tried AECC Global? As Far as I know they are like headhunter of potential student for AU, may mga partner schools sila. so hindi sila naniningil ng Agent FEE bec schools pay them. you just need to pay for your tuition of course. They will help and guide you. Meron din ata clang NZ schools na partners. you can try contacting them thru this page. https://pinoyau.info/aecc then tatawagan kanila.

Hello. Bago lang po ako. naghahanap din po ako ng agency namakaka tulong po sa akin. I've heard about FORTRUST. Ni recommend po cya ng kaibigan ko. Visa grant less than 24 hrs. Maayos naman daw sila ang lahat. Nagbibigay ng info diretso at walang halong pangbubula. Ang counselor niya si Erwin. sana may makapag suggest which is best.

@AU_applicant kilala ko na yan si fortrust dahil sila yung agency ko dati. sobrang nakakasama kaya ng loob kasi kitang kita na habol lang nila makapagbayad student ng tuition fee bec of their commissions and hindi sila tumutulong talaga sa students. and yung erwin na yan, kilala ko din siya kasi tinawagan niya ako nung nagfollow up nung umalis na si sir mon. i am sorry to say, di siya kasing professional ni sir mon and ang trying hard niya to reach the students dun lang sa gusto niyang school (again most likely bec of commissions). i am very much disappointed kasi ang dami ko din friends na narefuse sa fortrust. check on the reviews outside their fb page para mas malaman niyo how they work. maganda lang social media but the internal worjk? very disappointing. sorry sa mahaba kong post but i highly discourage people to apply thru fortrust dahil di nila ibibigay gusto mong option, dun lang sila sa kung ano gusto nila school for you. try my agent, sincere ang assistance.

@ireenval hi my apologies for late response. So far, I'm happy with KOKOS :)
They have shared with me very few schools that are in line with what I am actually looking at for an application. They did a great job in terms of school consultation and approach to me. That's the reason why I already started an application with them and I'm just waiting for my letter of offer. I like the professionalism very much.

@AU_applicant Hi! I knew Fortrust since I joined their recent event in Makati. UNFORTUNATELY, I found it very MESSY. They pushed me into just consulting in their office without even considering that I traveled more than 3 hours just to get to their event! I think they mirror IDP in terms of student handling. The counselors aren't focused with what I want and what I need for my application. I found out that they aren't partnered with the BEST schools both in OZ and NZ like the GROUP of 8 schools. From my opinion, I won't be processing my papers with Fortrust because I am not a fan of an agency which cannot provide PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND APPROACH. Hope WE all get positive visa application. Cheers!

@AU_applicant dont belive ung 24hrs ni fortrust kasi dpat si embassy lang ang nakakapagsabi ganu katagal processing. tulad ni kokos, wala sila snasabi na di naman totoo and palaging advise kay embassy pa din decision which is true. so don't trust an agent na nagcclaim ng ganyan kasi wala sila rights. and i agree wid d other posts, mas ok si kokos kay mj din aq and honest sila tlaga and true.. god speed sana maapprove aq soon!

@stephyyy27 thank you po sa feedback. I got a chance recently to have consultation in fortrust. i agree na embassy has the final say on the swiftness of the decision. so far, the counselor i talked with have not told me that i'll get the decision as fast as 24 hours. they said it may take time depending on the review of the visa officer. so far wala pa naman po saking na promise sakin na mabilisang process. i just knew a friend of mine na nagpa process ng student visa for macquerie and she was the one who experienced na within 24 hours may response na ung embassy. she said that she did not expect the decision to be out that fast. this is why she encouraged me to seek assistance with fortrust. so far pa naman po I'm good with their services and assistance. i believe po na ang mga agencies like fortrust and kokos are helping students like me to fulfill our dreams to study overseas. Both agencies are doing a great job and I am happy na students like me have alot of options for seeking hell with our application.

Hi @AU_applicant thank you so much for the clarification and I also agree with @stephyyy27 that you always take the time to research on your own and do not depend on the agency mismo. katulad din ng sinabi ko, i just really cannot encourage the people i know to process with fortrust kasi kahit mabait siguro agents dun, it all boils down na tumulong sila talaga kapag nasa processing na and gawin yuing expected na assistance. meron din kasi fee na hinihingi sa akin nun si erwin kaya sabi ko akala ko free sila like kokos bat ako pinagbabayad. but hopefully we all get to fly to oz and fulfill our dreams diba by the way ano po school and program mo @AU_applicant ? ako for mba this nov eh
