Working while studying

Hi everyone,

I am planning to take up my master degree in AU by February. I just have a few things I want to ask about

My questions are
1. Am I correct I can only work for 20 hours a week while taking up my masters degree?
2. If that is the case, approximately how much would I be able to earn in a year if i do menial jobs?

After doing some computations I realized you cannot earn enough money to pay for your tuition and living expenses while studying. It looks like I will really need to take mga naitago ko sa baul na pera. Haha.

if you have commenced your masters by research or doctoral degree in Australia, there is no limit on the number of hours you may work. - from DIBP website
