@LiLee404 yup. Ah tama naman ata. Yung metro manila applicants dapat kunin personal. Otherwise, pwede ipa courier.

Ahhh..oo nga noh, nakita ko na ngayon lang sa website nila. I don't like being pessimistic pero skeptical talaga ako kapag walang transparency. Di tulad ng WES na pwede i-track yung progress. Kahit ano2x nalang pumapasok sa isip ko kasi may nabasa ako (dunno how true) na may kilala silang examiner and hindi daw talaga pinapadala yung results sa main branch sa AUS.

It makes sense rin diba? Kasi bad for the business or it would reflect badly on the testing center kapag marami nagpapa-remark or even if there's one person asking for EOR. If that was the case, sana yung applicant nalang sana pwede magpadala ng results sa AUS para sure

(sigh..pwede kaya ito i-suggest somewhere? haha)

@LiLee404 dami naman positive results akong nabasa sa mga blogs... sana isa tayo sa mga dun... everyday talaga struggle ko sa kahihintay ng results..

Nagpa remark ako IDP for my writing hoping to get 7 from 6.5, unfortunately hindi positive results. Got the results after 7 weeks. It's not true to all na mag Up yung score, so think lang kung sa tingin mo deserving talaga yung test mo. My friend also had the same experience, ahead lang siya sa akin ng a month.
Sa akin kase, hindi talaga maganda handwriting ko, maybe that was partly the reason other than hindi siguro ganun ka ganda yung essay ko, but I was confident though. So I'm planning to explore PTE, kaso mas mahal kase sa Manila lang...

@onin111 Based from experience, PTE is way easier than IELTS. If your minimum score is 6.5 and you feel like you deserve a 7, then if you take PTE you have a strong chance to get a "superior" (+20 EOI pts) rating. My advice to all struggling with to a 7 in IELTS is to take the PTE.

P.S. I had taken IELTS once every year since 2015 and the best that I have achieved with a month of preparation was L8/R8.5/S7/W6.5.

@glorified4man i also want to take PTE as a substitute for ielts pero sa NZ ako ngayon and nursing council is not accepting other english test than ielts and oet...

@wahidkarlo I advice that you do your best in IELTS then. Give it one chance. If you get your target score then all is ok, but I would not give IELTS a second go. Like your case Engineers Australia does not accept PTE scores so I had to take IELTS. Luckily only 6.0 bandwidth is required for EA accreditation.

Hyie, paano magpa remark sa idp? May bayad po ba and gaano po katagal? Yung speaking and writing ko po from 6.5 gawin ko sana 7

@hailey you need to go to your exam center office at apply ka ng EOR(enquiry on results).. di ko alam magkano bayad jan sa pinas pero kaylangan mong kumuha ng manager's check sa bank for the payment..

@hailey - 5,500 yung EOR mismo, plus 240 for the courier fee (this is only applicable if outside Manila ka), then 50 pesos yung charge ng bank for the manager's check in BDO. Di ako sure if same sa ibang banks.

Bring your original TRF or yung original copy ng IELTS exam results mo kasi yun ang ipapadala nila sa main office sa AUS. Take note na walang receipt or tracking number ibibigay. Wait lang tayo for 6-8 weeks para sa results

@hailey it depends on how you feel about your performance in exam. suntok sa buwan tong ginagawa namen pero swertehan nalang at panalangin...

Wow.. encouraging to... maraming salamat sa pagshare.. ganun feel ko after reading feedback sa PTE takers.. will really go for it na..

Dito sa Pinas, sa Manila lang ang source ng results, pwede mo pick up doon pero i opted to have it mailed kase Cebu ako.

It may not be the same process dyan sa NZ, but what happened here is after two weeks expected results, was waiting for any communication, unfortunately wala talaga, tapos nag communicate ako sa test center (Brit C.), then doon ko lang nalaman na andoon lang pala sa LBC naka standby kase wrong address daw. Stupid reason talaga, so I investigated it, and the reason really was walang nakalagay na phone numbers sa sender and receiver ng doc, at wala din proactive advise tong BC. I was really dissappointed sa systema nila, nag feedback nga ako sa kanila na ayusin naman nila ang process nila...

@hailey if you want band 8 parang ang liit ng chance mo from 6.5 sa remark... kung 7 pa pwede siguro pero kung 8, it is almost impossible... pero if confident ka then go for it...
