Hi sir/mam, have received na po the resut of my EA, i am categorized po as engineering technologist, ask ko lang po, once nagapply ako ng visa, qualified pa din ba ko to be telco network engineer? May nakita kasi ako sa list of skills na telco technologist, Based po sa assessment ko, relevant naman po yung working experience ko as telco net engr.

@Krisian if your nominated occupation has been assessed to be engineering technologist, yun po ang dapat inominate nyo when you lodge your EOI unless may assessment result din po kau for telco network engineer.

Hi everyone. I’ve decided to pursue my migration plans to Australia the soonest possible and I would like to know your inputs on what skill I should choose. I was browsing the skills under the latest SOL and I find several options that may fit under my experience. To give you my background, I am an ECE graduate working in Oil and Gas Refinery here in the Philippines for more than 7 years now specialized in Instrumentation and Control Systems (Engineering and Maintenance). I’m looking at the following occupations: Electronics Engineer, Production or Plant Engineer, Engineering Technologist. May I know your suggestions for the best option to choose for EA assessment? Thanks!

@donyx the best option would be to determine whichever occupation is the closest to your experience kasi dun magbabased ng assessment si EA. Another thing to least consider would be the occupation ceiling and cutoff kasi I believe the engineering technologist easily fills up in relation to its occupation ceiling. There are occupations also na tumataas ang cutoff over a period of time.

@donyx My girlfriend used to work for a process management solutions company focused on the oil and gas industry. She made proposals and designed gas/liquid meter systems. We had her experience assessed originally as a production or plant engineer but EA noted that the CDRs we provided were more inclined to that of an engineering technologist. I think this was partly because she did not do field work, which in your case you do. I suggest you nominate production or plant engineer and in case your CDRs don't cut it, they'll make the decision on which occupation your experience suits most. All the best!

Eto po sir Jio:
26 y/o = 30 points
IELTS Competent Level = 0 point
5 years work experience = 10 points
Bachelor's degree = 15 points

I guess I'd just take the PTE test to claim the additional 10 points than risking over-claiming of points via the section 1 classification.

Hello, sino po dito nasa telecoms industry at project coordinator/engineer yung experience? Nababagay ba na magpa-assess as Professional Engineer or Associate Engineer? Base sa occupational ceiling, 0% na kasi yung availability ng Telecommunications Engineer compared sa 96% ng Telecommunications Network Planner or Field Engineer. Salamat in advance sa magbibigay ng inputs!

@kuya.king question about dun sa update mo. ano yung Section 2? Yung PRC cert or ID? Expired na kasi yung PRC license ko, kelangan ba to?

@tamblot3000 hi! kung tama ako ng intindi, I think nagreset na yung ceiling since fiscal year 2017-2018.

And regarding sa PRC ID, naitanong ko ito kay @sanseb2016, okay na ung result for PRC document. Expired na rin kasi sa husband ko pero he has the copy of the result.

Based lang ito sa mga nababasa ko.

Good day po sa inyong lahat,

Gamit ko lang po ung account ng wifey ko, tnry nya magpaassess sa AIQS twice na pero rejected dahil wala daw sya QS qualifications kaya ako na po ang amgbabakasakali.

Working po ako dito sa SG with 4+ yrs of experience ngayon nasa Penta ako doing tunnel project. Grad po ako ng CE sa UE pero HINDI pinalad magkalicense.

Ask po sana ako ng help at guidance sa inyo kung paano ko po sisimulan ang pagaaply ko. Gusto ko po kasi na magkasama sama kami ng pamilya ko pati ung baby namin na 2y/o nasa pinas sya.

Kung maaari din po kung mabbahaginan nyo ako ng copy ng inyong CDR.pasend nalang po sa [email protected]

@sky14 Hi po, ask po sana ako advice nyo kung paano po gagawin ko sa sitwasyon ko. CE grad po ako pero hindi license dto po ako ngayon SG kasama ng asawa ko pero ung anak namin sa pinas. May 4yrs na po ako experience dto at nasa tunnel project ako ngayon. Dapat po ba na Engr. Technologist ang gamitin kong pathway? at ok lang po ba ang PTE. makikihingi na din po ako ng CDR para reference na din po. [email protected]

@ullahv hndi ko masasagot lahat ng tanong mo pero try ko un iba.. re engg technologist, try mo pa din mag apply as professional engr. Kung hndi ka naman makalusot as prof engr e sila na mag advise sayo na mag technologist ka. Medyo mahirap lang ata kung technologist kase mabilis mapuno ang ceiling.
Kung nakapag ielts ka na, try pte to gain more points, mas makatao ang scoring system ng pte kesa ielts
