Declaration of Financial Capacity for Visa 489

Hello PinoyAu!

Sobrang thankful po ako na I found this forum. Napaka informative at napaka helpful sa mga members. Marami din akong natutunang dapat gawin sa mag DIY ng Visa application.

Tanong lang po sana sa requirement na Declaration of Financial Capacity for Visa 489 po ito sa Tasmania state sponsorship.

Ano po ba dapat gawin ko? To be honest, wala po akong funds na P1M kagaya ng naread ko dito from forum threads. Wala po akong asset na nakapangalan sa amin ng family ko, aside from personal insurance and mutual fund.

As to how we can sustain ourselves in AU while looking for work, sure po kami na mag ask help lang muna sa mga relatives namin (gulp!). Sad but true. Ano po pwede ninyung ma advise?

Which state are you applying to? Most states will not require you to show any proof of funds but of course they will look into your circumstances (i.e. employment, assets etc) how you arrive to amount you are claiming you have.. It is also a good idea to ask your relative here in australia to provide a statutory declaration that they will help you financially/settle.

Meron na po ba naka pagtry dito na nag Statutory Declaration po sila?

@Farseer Hi, with other states like South Australia, they only require the person to declare his financial capacity but they do not ask for evidence. Will Tassie ask for evidence? IF they will, as what you have said, if your relatives are willing to help you financially then if kulang ung amount na meron ka maybe you could ask your relatives to write a stat declaration saying they will support you financially and/or maybe ask one of them to share their work payslip or bank statement to you to prove that they have a source of income.

If you are unsure, you or your relatives in Tassie can always call the Tasmania migration department for questions.

Btw, Tassie is a very nice place especially if you want quiet and laid-back life and fantastic scenery.

Salamat po, @Au_Vic. Wala pa akong na read sa forum dito po na nagrerequire si Tasmania ng evidence of financial capacity. But just in case, gusto ko lang po malaman kung how much usually ang dine-declare ng mga tao dito para naman po meron kaming basis.

Oo nga po, maraming nagsasabi na ang Tassie ay nice place to live in -- but very difficult to find work. Kaya po hesitant kami mag pursue, especially na Visa 489 ang being offered. Sa pagkaka alam ko po, we have to buy our own healthcare (which is expensive) and sa schools for primary students, meron po tuition fees for the temporary visa holders.

As of now, we are praying for direction and provisions kung anong state pwede yung occupation ko

@Farseer basta wag lang maging mapili sa work pagdating mo ng Tassie i'm sure may mahahanap ka na work at tiyaga lang. Dito nmn basta marangal at legal na work pare-parehas lang. Saka dito uso ang contract or temp jobs unlike sa pinas.

Healthcare, yes mejo expensive pero magshop around ka ng good deal marami nmn choices at ung important lang na health care ang kunin mo.

Sa school, someone said to me na kpg public school at nka 489 visa same lang ng PR. Check it out.

@Hunter_08 @Au_Vic thank you po sa inputs. Yes po, pagdating sa AU dapat hindi choosy kung anong work ang pwede. Esp na very difficult to get that first local work experience.

I lodged an EOI sa NSW po. Stream 2 nga lang, but I'm hopeful

@Farseer Hello, good luck sa application. Nakita ko lang sa most recent threads kaya nabasa ko yung discussion na ito.

Accdg to Tassie reqs, magdedeclare lang pero hindi need ng evidence. Pero siyempre dapat handa kapag nagrequest si CO ng evidence. Ipagpray nalang na hindi sila magrequest. Hiram nalang ng show money kapag kinailangan.

yes po, hopefully maka hiram ng pang show money if ever needed nila ang evidence ng financial declaration.

Hoping and praying for NSW Stream 2 na they will consider me and that I can get state nomination from them.

I like the timeline sa signature ninyo po. Ang bilis na towards the direct grant yung processing ng Visa ninyo
