Ang taas na ng points for IA. Haay. Good luck sa mga nagfa-finalize pa lang ng points (like me). Kaya natin to. Hehe

yeah, dati ung accountant and external auditors lang ang mataas ang points required, recently pati internal auditor na din kc I think ung occupations na related sa accounting nka-cap na kc sa sobrang dami ng gusto magmigrate.

Hi all,

Base sa immitracker and iscah, yung na invite for ITA last Aug. 23 for IA, nag submit last June 5 pa, medyo matagal na pala backlog.

Yes, pwede yan sa IA. Kasi ako nag IA, nag accountant, external audit and IT audit. Kumuha din ako ng point test advise sa Vetasses dati. positive naman, nakuha ko ung max points for that mga 8+ experience ata di ko tanda. Ung CIA bonus lang yan, wala naman extra point jan (meron din kasi ako CIA, CISA, CRMA, CPA sinama ko sa applications ko, wala naman special consideration, siguro nagpabilis lang sa kanila mag decide na approved ung assessment at visa ko but no addt'l points) . Basta total ko naka 70 points ako pero year 2014 pa yan

@vhoythoy Wow, buti ka pa pati external audit experience naconsider. Nung naglodge ako last last year, nakalagay dun sa website nila na di daw nila inaaccept yung experience as accountant and external auditor.

I see. Sa akin wala naging issue, closely related sya. anyway, baka depende sa nag assess. Basta pasado ako sa assessment ng vetassess, point test advise full experience ung recommended, and 70 points din ako. basta smooth na after ng assessment.

@misterV hi..:) I saw that you took PTE instead of IELTS. I am now considering to take PTE with the hope to get a higher band and increasing the points. For consecutive months, the cut-off for IA is 75points. Too high!

@chrisdg hi... how do you find the PTE exam compared to IELTS? I currently have 65points and thinking of takin the PTE for a chance to get higher band.

Hi guys. Question lang po. Nagpaassess po ako sa vetassess for IA and I received a negative outcome. Dahil daw yung education ko is hndi same level as australian education. I graduated sa PUP Sta. Mesa, and I am a CPA. Nagsubmit naman ako ng TOR, Diploma saka yung PRC certification ko. Hindi din tuloy naassess ang experience ko since sa education pa lang negative na. Ano po kayang pwedeng remedy sa situation ko? Thank you po.

@peyborcat That's really weird kasi PUP is a section 2 school tapos CPA ka pa. Stated dun sa website nila na plus points daw pag CPA ka. My school is also in section 2 and yet I got a positive assessment. Do you have an agent?

@misterV yes po may agent po. Kaso ang suggestion nila is to try cpa australia. Ang problema, since graduation internal audit na ang work ko. Hndi ko alam kung bakit yun ang sinusuggest nila. Tingin mo, magpareassess ako?

@peyborcat hindi ba inexplain sa assessment kung bakit? May similar experience ako although ICAA assessment for external auditor. Ang initial assessment sakin ay not suitable kasi may isang subject na hindi nagqualify for australian standards. Naka-explain yun sa letter. I'm not sure lang sa vetasses

@peyborcat ako din pup pero EA nmn ang occupation nominated. positive nman sa CPAA. ang pangit ng agency mo, no offense meant. di ka man lang tinulungan. bakit sa CPAA ka e hindi nmn assessing body ng IA and CPAA.?

@peyborcat try mo ulit pa reassess sa vetassess..add more proof sa experience as an internal auditor, normally, sabay Naman Yung education at experience sa I assess, then minsan yung 1 year ng experience, parang inaalis isasama sa education...

@clj2012 oo ganyan sakin. Binawasan ng 1 year yung experience "to calculate the qualifying period required to meet the skill level of the nominated or closely related ANZSCO occupation"

Nakapag EOI ka na? Nabasa ko sa prediction ng ISCAH 2 months after EOI pa daw makaka receive ng ITA for 189. Baka may info dito for 190.

@dyanisabelle hello, yan din nakasulat sa vetassess ko..Naka eoi nako Aug. 10, hopefully ma invite na this oct. 18.. pr 189 in apply ko, akala ko kasi mabilis lang, bumagal Yung movement Ng Auditor, last Sept 20 invites cut off is July 28 na, kaya nagtataka din ako why dipa umabot last oct. 4 na ma invite ako.. base on Iscah though unconfirmed, July 30 cut off for 75 pointers lang, ibig sabihin kaya is marami pang 80pts and above sa loob lang Ng 2 days..Sana maging okay na

@dyanisabelle 75pts..nag message ako sa iscah and ask about their opinion why 2 days lang movement ng invitation for Auditor last Oct. 4. Ang Sabi madami daw accountants na 80 pointers na lumipat sa auditor. I think di nya pinag isipin masyado ang sagot nya kasi, di Naman basta basta makakalipat ang accountant to auditor for EOI kasi iba assessing authority. Anyways, antay natin official result ng invitation round from DIBP to confirm yung cut off points & date last October..

@peyborcat hi po. ngpareassess dn aq but the process took 6 months; luckily, positive nman na. Ang problem ko dati is ung msmong work dw ang hindi highly relevant sa IA...try u uli pareassess...

@Mia_ hi.. Ask ko lang po in behalf of my hubby. CPA dn sya. External Auditor. Nsa COA sya ngaun for 3 years n. 2 years sya as accountant. Pwede lang ba magpaassess w/o ielts. D pa kasi sya nakapagexam. San sya magpaassess, CPAA ba? Salamat.

@Au_Vic hi Vic. What do you think is the best for my husband. He worked as Accountant for 2 years. Currently, external auditor sya for 3 years now sa COA. San kaya sya magpapaAsses? Wala pa syang ielts. Next month pa sya magexam. Just to prepare papers sana. May mga kamag Anak ako sa Adelaide, SA but i don't think pwede s knya ang family sponsored. Salmat.

@ellaine hi, it depends, ilang points ba ang husband mo? both occupations na external audit at accountant ay pro-rata as per immigration. I think you can choose the occupation that will give him a higher points kc point system ang basis para ma-invite ka.

There are 3 authorised assessing bodies for accountants and external auditor, CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia or Institute of Public Accountants. Any of those 3 pwede xa magpa-assess pero kung may balak xang maging certified accountant dito sa oz in the future, pick either CPA Australia or ICAA. Check the website of those assessing bodies to know the requirements for migration assessment, he needs to satisfy the english requirement first before he can submit his assessment.

Nope, hindi xa pwede isponsor the relatives mo sa SA kc di sila related sa kanila technically. Another option is kung ung occupation mo ay nsa list ng pwede i-sponsor the relative mo then you can be the main applicant instead ung husband mo.

Heads up lang, ang daming naka queue for accountants and external auditors na hindi pa naiinvite kc mataas ang competition sa occupations na yun kaya kapag low ung points mejo malabo ma-invite or pwedeng abutin ng years to get an invite. I think ang current points for auditor to get an invite is around 75, yung last invitation round na sinend ng immigration, walang accountant na na-invite.
