    for Accountants, ang alam ko Academic ang kailangan. abangan natin magreply ang mga Accountants. :)

    If that is the case, try checking the requirements of VETASSESS - I myself are not familiar with their requirements... :) But yeah, for internal audit, it something not done by the likes of CPAA.

    @ paulo - external auditor is also assessed by the same assessing body of accountants so same lang ang requirement na atleast 7 in each band... when do you intend to take the ielts pala?

    @Paulo, Audit Firms ba balak mo din applyan sa Australia? Naisip ko din yan kaso hirap na kasi pag may family kaya tuloy ko na internal audit. Nagudit firm din dati ako sa pinas at dito sa Singapore kakapagod din kasi =(.

    Ako naman after 1st quarter next year pa ako mag start ng mga IELTS at processing

    Ah ako nga yata, parehas na pala avatar ko hahaha. Newbie plang ako dito =(. Nasa deciding stage plang ako kung Canada or Australia eh. GAnda din daw kasi opportunity dun Canada para sa industry ng internal audit pero wait pa next year sa listing ng new NOC yata. Gusto ko din Oz kasi laid back and malapit sa Pinas. Makikigulo muna ako dito at magbabasa =)

    oo nga, sa current listing ng canada wala taung lugar... last option ko canada, nalalayuan kc ako...pamasahe pa lang yari na, baka dina kame makauwi ng pinas..haha!

    sbi kona ikaw un e, hahaha.... ako start pa lang din ako mag-asikaso ng mga papers at mag ielts... mahirap mag-collate ng documents lalo na andito tau SG...

    oo nga, sa current listing ng canada wala taung lugar... last option ko canada, nalalayuan kc ako...pamasahe pa lang yari na, baka dina kame makauwi ng pinas..haha!
    Ako naman first Canada, then Oz, tapos NZ. pag wala progress sa lahat iyak nalang ako hahaha. Di pa kasi ako maka start kahit mag IELTS lang sana muna kasi may exam ako CISa sa Dec tapos CFE sa Jan. Kunin ko pa family ko for Dependent pass after then bayad annual payment sa property sa Pinas by Feb so wala na talaga datung.

    After that start na ako mag IELTS mga April cguro para focus sabay siguro kami ng roomamate ko balak nya din kasi. Mas kinakabahan ako jan sa IELTS kesa sa mga acctg/audit certifications haha. May mga dati akong officemates pero sa Acctg/ Finance na sila sa Australia ngayun. Naisip ko din mag shift sa Finance pero sayang naman kasi since 2006 IA na comfort zone ko =(.

    I don't think it will be revoked as the department issueing the driver's license is different from the Ministry of Manpower. Then again, I may be wrong on this assumption...

    @vhoythoy - i understand that decisions on migration is a big undertaking and it is good to take some time to reflect on it but you may want to consider the fact that a different set of migration law in australia may come into effect once you are already ready to do your application.

    in your timeline, you mentioned you plan to do your IELTS on April 2013 next yr. after IELTS is released, you still have skills assessment to consider. you may not have enough time to make it by June 30 - July 1 kasi iba na naman ang migration law that will come into effect. it is possible that they may change the scoring, the SOL, the number of accountants they may want for the next fiscal yr, etc...

    so ayun, just something for you to consider - you mentioned canada no longer open to accountants; will this happen in australia come july 1, we do not know... :)

    Bilisan ko na nga siguro hahaha. Pag pamilyado ka na talaga sa bawat desisyon mo eh kasama na family. 2 months old palang baby ko now and gusto ko na makita at makasama ko sya habang lumalaki. The main reason why i wanted to migrate somewhere else kahit ok at stable naman ako dito sa Singapore. 3.5 years na magkalayo kami ng wife ko is not worth it talaga. Start ko na siguro December after CISA hehe.Thanks

    Nagkasabay sabay lang talga gastos. Ako kasi since 2009 magisa lang ako Singapore hindi ko kasama wife ko. Pauwi-uwi lang ako sa pinas twice a year. After 6 years of marriage nagkababy din kami.

    Dami ko yata backread haha. Yung mga past employment, dapat ba may certifications sa lahat ng employer. Tatlo kasi naging employer ko sa Pinas, mukhang dapat yata ako mag request ng signed certifications for them.     dapat may COE ka sa mga past employment mo especially kung closely related sa nominated occupation mo. usually pa nirerequire ng assessing body ung detailed job description and some other infos such as salary, working hours, full time/part time, permanent/contractual, etc.
    Aside sa TOR, they may ask for your syllabus din... kc sa cpa australia need nila syllabus at ipapa CTC mo lahat to.

    @ paulo - external auditor is also assessed by the same assessing body of accountants so same lang ang requirement na atleast 7 in each band... when do you intend to take the ielts pala?
    hi, im still on the process of gathering review materials. hopefully by december or january makapagtake na ako. nagtake ka na ba? any tips or reviewers? salamat po:)

    @ paulo - hotshot is correct.. Academic ang IELTS test for Accountants and you need atleast 7 sa lahat ng bands.
    thank you po sa mga replies nyo. External auditor po ako so I guess same na lang din po yun.

    @Paulo, Audit Firms ba balak mo din applyan sa Australia? Naisip ko din yan kaso hirap na kasi pag may family kaya tuloy ko na internal audit. Nagudit firm din dati ako sa pinas at dito sa Singapore kakapagod din kasi =(.

    Ako naman after 1st quarter next year pa ako mag start ng mga IELTS at processing

    yep, external auditor pa din ang balak ko. Nasa SOL nmn yung external auditor so baka yun yung iapply ko. Dito ka ba magtake ng IELTS sa SG?
