Initial Entry Adelaide - what to do

Hi, mag IE kami sa october. Wala naman ako nakitang existing post about this so tanong ko lang sana kung meron sa inyo jan may step-by-step instructions ano gagawin pag IE, specific to Adelaide.

And tanong ko din yung sa driving license. Nakita ko kasi na you need to convert within 90 days of becomming a PR. Meaning ba nyan counting starts sa IE mo? kasi mukang hindi ko maaasikaso yung driving license this october. Sa BM ko pa siya magagawa which will be Feb 2018 pa for us. (May Singapore driving license ako).

Hello..not sure din kung from the date of your IE ung sa driver's license.

Meron ka na ba license sa SG? If meron, madali lang naman iconvert. Kakaconvert ko lang. It took mostly an hour.

So if you have SG Driver's license and you have a few hrs to spend in South Australia, I suggest iconvert mo na.

Although ang impact lang naman ata if you were not able to convert it within 90 days ay hindi ka pwede magdrive. Pwede mo pa naman iconvert after 90 days.

buy metrocard
open bank account - NAB, Westpac, ANZ or CBA
go to Centrelink office
go to medicare office

wala pako sg license. next month ko pa asikasuhin. di kasi ako umabot sa basic theory test schedule.

What I meant was, you are allowed to drive using your foreign driver's license for 90 days. After the 90 day period, if you are a PR, you'll have to convert your foreign license to AU license.

Reporting lang...Kakabalik lang namin from IE, grabe sobrang ganda ng OZ. excited na kami magBM. If time and budget allows, magandang idea talaga mag IE to get a feel of OZ bago mag BM. Yung akala naming high cost of living, same lang pala sa SG if not mas mura pa nga yung ibang bilihin. Eating out sa restos, halos same lang din. Mas mahal lang yata ng konti yung fastfood.

@MP1984 wow from SG dn pla kayo.. saya nakapag initial entry na kayo. Ask ko lng need po ba lahat ng applicant may initial entry kasi balak namin kmi muna ni hubby then ung anak namin sa big move na.. thank you!

Sorry po hindi ko alam. Baka sa main thread (general) mas marami makasagot.
Pero kung yung BM nyo e pasok padin sa IE deadline, i dont think may issue.

Kelan BM nyo pala? Kami Feb. Wala kami kakilala dun e haha

@MP1984 hintay pa kami visa hehe.. nung august 13 kmi nglodge kaso naco contact ng aug 29 so ngaun hintay uli. hopefull by next yr meron na din..

balak namin BM around July 2018 tapusin muna school ng anak ko sa pinas then magayos onti and pahinga dn. wala dn kami kakilala kaya dito lng sa mga groupd ngrerely. buti dami tumutulong sobrang laking bagay nitong pinoyau. Hope to meet you pagpunta namin dun.. hehe Goodluck sa BM!

Btw, family ba kayo or couple?

As long as your BM date is on/before the required entry date na nakalagay sa visa niyo, ayos lang.

@maiSG03 august 2017 rin pala kayo nag lodge. kami rin august pero until now wala pang approval huhu. sc 190 kami and from sg rin kami ng husband ko. anong visa niyo and approved na ba kayo?
