@ceasarkho previously opena ang SA at Tasmania but yung sa SA conditional na at need na ng 80 points sa Tasmania naman nag close sila for the mean time ng ICT.. ang nakita ko open ang Software Engineer sa Far South Coast sa NSW. pero medyo malaki nga lang yung fee AUD770 ata.. hopefully mag open ulit yung sa Tasmania by January dahil mag uupdate daw ulit sila ng 489 occupation list.

2. Once received ng ITA from NSW, need na ba mg apply sa NSW site with the payment?

@ceasarkho yup bibigayn ka nila ng deadline para mag apply for regional sa 489NSW. e check mo din kung okay sayo yung far south coast. at least may idea ka kung ano meron dun.

Q24: Are you applying for a temporary visa?

I'm applying for Visa subclass 489, this kind of visa is temporary, right?
should I tick YES? if I tick YES I need to give details of the final departure but I should not book ticket yet.

hi all question lang po if ever ma grant ung 489 visa namin ng wife ko (my wife is my dependent) what if mabuntis si wife habang naka 489 visa kami sa ausi...wala naman ba magiging kaso ung future baby namin? i mean i aapply lang din ba siya ng visa 489 as my dependent once ipinanganak siya? TIA

@eking yes, your baby will be your dependent. if by the time you have the baby and you are still on 489, the baby will have 489 too. If you have a baby by the time that you and your partner are PRs, then the baby will be an OZ citizen automatically.

Hello. I am planning to apply for subclass 489 visa as well (sponsored by my aunt and first cousins and nakabase sila ngayon sa Melbourne) Tinry ko na kasi magcompute ng points ko and assuming that 1yr and 1/2 pa lang iyong work experience ko as a software engineer and assuming na makasuperior sa language proficiency na tatargetin ko sana maachieve, makaka70 points total na ako. Included na iyong 10 points na subclass 489. Tanong ko lang sana if eligible na ako to apply and may chance maaprove? Or any advise na need ko gawin like for example wait muna na maka 3yrs and above experience? Thank you in advance!

@marise32 pwede ka na apply. 60 lang naman ang ceiling para ma invite. kong hindi naka quota ang nominated occupation mabilis ka ma invite kong 70 na as of now ang points mo.

@marise32 Since IT course kayo, sobrang dami ng competition. Hanggang ngayon 70 pointers palang ang naiinvite sa 189 visa, and 489 family sponsored visas will only get invited kung may slot na matitira from 189, which is unlikely. To put into perspective, ECE grad ako and nagclaim ako ng same amount of points na balak nyo iclaim (70 pts) pero wala pa rin ako invite. Sept 22 pa ako naglodge.

@MLBS thank you din. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na 489 family sponsored visas will only get invited kung may slot na matitira sa 189 visa. Ang tagal pala. Sept. 22 pa iyong last date ng lodge and until now wala pa rin balita? Nagpafree assessment kasi ako dati sa respall and sabi balik daw ako sakanila if may 3yrs exp. na ako. Pero tnry ko magcalculate ng points and makaka70 naman if ever so I dont know if it will be worth the risk not to wait na maka3yrs exp. muna ako.

@marise32 ICT occupations kasi 70 pts palang ang iniinvite, and thats for 189 visa, meaning nakaabot sila ng 70 without sponsor points. As of now 60 palang kayo, and sobrang baba pa ng chance mainvite sa ict, kasi I've read here na last 60 pt na nainvite sa ict occupations is nung 2015 pa. Respall maybe correct, kasi posible na kayo umabot ng 70 if you're 25 yrs old and have 3 yrs exp

@marise32 may eoi ako both for 189(60 pts) and 489(70 pts) at di pa ako invited. Hinihintay ko pa bumaba yung 189 to 60 which is hopefully next year

Hi all question ulit...kung hahayaan ko mag expire ung 489 SA ITA ko kelan ako pede ulit mag re apply ng 489 SA? May waiting period ba na dapat ifulfill bago mag submit ulit ng application?
