Hello po, pag po ba IT related skills 70points po ba need or 60 parin? Pag 60 points may chance parin kayang mainvite? Ang haba na ata ng pila hehe. Yung nakalagay po sa ACS ko 2 years after ng work ko pa yung considered skilled,may nakaencounter po ng ganito? Mag 6years na kasi ako sa company ko ,pag less 2 years,5 points lang yun if ever. Thanks

@jamiePH yup ganyan tlga sa ACS nagbabawas sila ng exp.. 2yrs yung minimum nilang binabawas. for your question mas mataas ang points mas mabilis ma invite.

@Hunter_08 just got my PTE result, hoping for 20 points, sad to say I got 78 in one of the components while the others 79 and up. too sad huhuhu, will only get 5 points for my work experience then waaah

Guys! question po.
Na assessed na kasi ako ng ACS as associate degree deducted ako 5 yrs work exp.
Pag nagaral ako australia ng bachelors degree then natapos ko pag nag pa re-assess ako sa ACS magiging 2 yrs na lang kaya deduction?

@iska03 dipende sa course na aaralin mo sa Au. kapag related sa work exp mo yes they might reduce the deduction to 2 yrs. at ma assess ka as bachelor's degree.

@iska03 you also have to consider if the occupation is still on the list by the time you finish your studies. Also they will recognise work experience in the last 10 years. Baka by the time you finish, you lose on work experience na. Hindi na enough ang points mo now. Parang long shot yung pinaplan mo

Sorry clarification lang po last na, 6 years ako ngaun sa work ko, so if mag deduct si acs ng 2 years meaning sa 5 points lang po ako pasok? Hnd sa pang 10 points?

@fvibas you have to refer to the tasks described on ANZSCO for Systems Analyst and see if ihese match yours. Only you could determine this since you know exactly what you're doing at work.

@RheaMARN1171933 yes pasok p naman sa 10 yrs. 1 year course lang kukunin ko.
Level 9 siya AQF mas taas sa bachelors degree and mas mababa sa masters degree.

@Hunter_08 yup related naman siya sa work exp ko

10 points madadagdag sakin if pwede yun.another 5 points pa if maka 1yr job related sa course while studying.

@iska03 isn't it level 9 a masters degree? I think it should be level 8. You can also do that in Philippines as long as section 1 yung university na pag-aaralan mo. Anyway, good luck

@iska03 yung work exp na ma gain mo while studying hindi ata pwede dahil need ata full time. or baka iba if sa au ka nag wowork.

@iska03 @Hunter_08 ACS will consider 20 hours work a week as full time naman. The problem is how soon makakakuha ng part time work when in Australia. From my own experience, I entered Australia as student visa and it isn't easy finding one as most of the time they prefer full time employment. What worked for me at that time was working in call centres where they are open to accepting part time workers. Luckily as well I eventually found a part time job in Citibank only because I used to work in Citibank in Philippines and met aussies who were assigned in Philippines. In short, I knew someone internally. Honestly, if you're going to study there, mas mahal definitely for you since you have to sustain your living expenses and 20 hours work a week isn't enough. In the end, you're better off doing your studies in Philippines if minimum degree level Lang naman ang gusto mong ma-recognise.

if ganyan po nakalagay sa ACS, ang start of employment po na ilagay ko sa EOI is OCT 2013, instead of Oct 2011, tama po ba? kasi after OCT 2013 pa daw yung considered to equate .

Hi. question lang. magsusubmit pa lang ako ng documents sa ACS kaso yung COE na binigay nung present company ko eh 2 pages. Okay lang ba yun? Yung signature niya nasa second page tapos pinapirmahan ko na din yung first page. Pero skeptical pa din ako baka hindi i-accept na valid. Magpapanotarize na sana kami mga documents bukas pero iniisip ko if kelangan ko pa ipaulit yung COE to be sure. Nakailang revision na din kasi kami nung HR kasi medyo kulang details. Meron na bang nakapagsubmit ng 2 pages na COE? Salamat!

@migoboy why don't you email ACS about it? They entertain questions like yours and usually prompt in replying. This way you have something in writing from them in any case sabihin nila ok Lang yun tapos maging issue during the assessment itself. May argument and proof ja from them.

this means pwede ka lang magclaim ng points starting November 2013. Pero sa EOI mo may 2 entries ka:
- 10/11 - 10/13 (not relevant)
- 11/13 - 07/17 (relevant)

@migoboy also, We usually tell my clients to write a COE draft which they made to ensure tama yung format and all before they send it to the employer for signing. The fact that HR ang gumawa ng COE mi, I hope you've checked everything against ACS requirements.

@RheaMARN1171933 actually, we provided the format and the details kaso medyo makulit si HR hindi sinusunod kaya nakailang revisions kami. Pero okay na. Nasubmit na namin kahapon sa ACS so waiting na kami for the result. Thank you ulit!

Hi po..educ grad po ako dto pinas, if i'll take diploma in software dev't sa aus. Magkakakuha ba ako ng positive assessment sa acs kahit wala aq experience sa field na yan... I wantes to shift career sana.. Thanks sa sasagot..
