2. Answer all the questions

Answer all the questions truthfully. Consistency is very important when providing answers. Do not provide contradictory information. More importantly, make sure you can back up your answers with evidence. Some of the questions can be confusing. If you do not answer them correctly, it could cost your application. The following are examples:

What stream are you applying for? (Tourism or Business )
Details of any significant dates on which the applicant needs to be in Australia.
Does this applicant have national identity documents? (For Filipinos, it is the Birth Certificate)
Does the applicant intend to enter Australia on more than one occasion? (If you want to get a multiple entry visa, you need to provide details and an explanation. For example, I stated in my application that my travel itinerary included staying in Australia from Dec. 18-29, 2015. Then flying to New Zealand from Dec.29, 2015-Jan.14, 2016.Then passing by Australia for a day (Jan.15) before flying to Philippines as flight via Australia is cheaper. )
Does the applicant have any family members not travelling to Australia who are not Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents? (In you are single family members refer to your parents and siblings, and for married it is your spouse or children)
What funds will the applicant have available to support their stay in Australia?
Will the applicant visit any relatives, friends or contacts while in Australia?

You do not need to finish your application in one sitting. You can save your application and complete it later.

@AD1516 you can make a group application kong kasama mo wife mo. answer NO for any other names if you are not know for other name officially like change of names.

@AD1516 yes specific date u plan to be in AU. if its various dates you can indicate the significance of those date say for exam June 12, 2017 - To celebrate our wedding anniversary in AU
Aug 5, 2017 - To attend wedding of my brother.
etc.

DIBP usually will use this dates as a basis if they going to give you multiple entry or single entry. for all those date you need to provide supporting docs such as invitation for the wedding marriage contract what ever the purpose of the visit.

@batman thanks again.. how bout regarding the 1)"What funds will the applicant have available to support their stay in Australia?(it is provided with space for comments)....also 2)if I say "yes " I will study during my visit, but you did not ....or you said "no' but then you did,, what are your thoughts about these?

there is a drop down list showing the options if personal funded, supported by someone etc. just itemized things such as accommodation, plane ticket, food who will take responsible in the space provided. if personal funded attach bank statement that shows you are capable to do so.

you are not allowed to study longer than 3 months if you are on visit visa. if you said yes attach proof, if you said no, no need to attach anything. if you do the opposite what you declared then that is breach of conditions specified in your visa.

Just follow the rules.

Hi all, my boyfriend will try to apply for tourist visa via sponsorship of his relatives from Adelaide, our dilemma is he already has airfare ticket going to Brisbane and he is going to stay in Brisbane as well. Is he going to be questioned when he arrived here in Brisbane on why he is not in Adelaide as he has family sponsored visa?Thanks

If magsstay for more than 3mos in a state, kelangan pa po bang mag apply for an extension?

how ling is the average processing time kaya? His is my 2nd application, my visa expired last year and it only took 4 days (submitted friday & received the visa on monday). And... Do i really need to attach my birth certificate even if I have already attached my passport? Also... The birth certificate of my kids in the family portion?

@MsD kids birth certificate are needed to confirm the relationship connection nyo nang bata. afaik di makikita sa passport alone yun.

Good day po. Paano mag apply ng tourist visa if im the employed one and my wife is unemployed? Pero sa kanya naka pangalan ang mga savings po namin. Sencya na po first time to apply. We are just worried kase our bank account was named after her so wala ako mapapakitang bank statement. Pero ako po ang applicant for tourist visa. Please advise us po. Thank u..

@heewon The purpose of the bank statement is to prove that you have access to sufficient funds to finance your visit and the purpose(s) of such visit. This is only one of the proofs for financial capacity.

You mentioned that you are employed... if your salary is coursed via atm, then you can use statements for that account as as proof of financial capacity together with that of your wife's banks statement(s) and your employment certificate and statement from your employer that you are allowed to be on leave during the period of your visit.

Other proof of financial capacity would be land title(s) and business registration(s) if you have them. If you have a relative in Australia who can act as sponsor, they can also send you an invitation letter indicating that they are sponsoring your visit and expenses during the visit.

@cucci thank u for your respond. yes my salary is thru atm sir/ma’am. My wife has credit cards too and we have properties rin po. House and lot and we owned a car. We have a friends in AU pero sir parang hindi sila willing to accomodate us and so they refuse to send us invitation letter though we asked them. How sad. Anyway sir/ma’am how will i start po? I already created my immi account. Group po ba ang pipiliin ko? Then yung wife ko sa new application din under my immi account? And yung sa Funding Details pu namen? Ano pa ang pipiliin namin sir? Sorry sir madami ako questions. Nag back read na rin ako dito Pero nalilito po ko kase karamihan may mga previous passport stamps na and invitations. In our case it is our very first out of the country po. Salamat po.

@heewon Visitor visa applications are individual, but you can create a group so that all applications in that group would be assessed by the same officer.

So bale create ka ng individual applications at may question dun something like "Is this application being lodged as part of a group of applications?" tick Yes and create the name of your group.

Sa application ni wife mo tick Yes also sa question and indicate the name of the group.

As to proof financial capacity, include all:
a.) Bank certificates and latest 3 months bank statements for each account
b.) Latest 3 months of credit card statements
c.) Land titles and other real properties.

For proof of travels, if you have an old passport, you can use that or you can make a letter stating this is your first time to travel outside the Philippines.
