@red_lion thank you po. I tried sa youtube, nabother ako kasi some videos parang mali talaga. May isang sentence na may "Can't" na word, tapos ang pagbasa nila ay "KEN.TEE". Na mind boggle ako. HAHAHA! Sa PTE ba masyadong slang ung nagsasalita? Nakakaintindi ako ng American and Aussie english, pero nabother lang ako baka may super slang na kinakain na yung prepositions halos. :l

@Donnajanice, sa mga previous takes ko wala pa nman ako na encounter na super slang, pero since nka random yung items ni PTE possible na meron din silang items na slang speaker. Also, prepare ka din sa mabilis na audio, previously madami nagsasabi mabilis ang pacing ng mga nagsasalita lalo na sa highlight incorrect word (Listening Part)

@Supersaiyan T_T totoo po ba? okay okay, pero hindi naman OA sa haba yung sentence dun sa write from dictation no? tapos 3-4 items po siya, tama po ba? ilang mistakes lang pwede para pwede superior padin?

@Donnajanice, yaka mo po yan. Kung kaya po ng ibang masters nten sa PTE dito yaka din nten. It just takes time lng po sa practice.

For write from dictation, usually mga 6-13 words long po sya. Sabihin na nten na dapat at least 50% every item ng WFD ay makuha mo para may pag asa ma superior.

Ilang words po ngayon usually ang repeat sentence and write from dictation? And mabilis po ba yung salita? Mabigat daw po kasi sila pareho. Salamat po.

@Donnajanice usually 3 items. ang ginagawa ko naman is type as i hear it. kahit na may maling spelling ok lang. you can still fix it after before you click next. mas comfortable kasi ako sa typing, at wala akong tiwala sa memory ko.

try mo magpractice sa ptestudy.com, yung ibang items dun ay actual test items ng PTE

tip: kung merong word na hindi mo maintindihan, type mo lang din kung anong narinig mo. usually magegets mo kung anong word yun based on context.

@Supersaiyan Salamat sa pag tiyaga na replyan ako.

Nagwoworry ako kasi gusto ko sana 1 shot lang to, kasi mahal ang exam. HAHAHA! tho pang schooling naman yung required rate ko, kaya kampante nadin na medyo mababa ang passing rate na need. let's say If may na-miss akong isang preposition, or namali ako ng gamit, minus 1 po yun no sa total words na nakuha kong tama?

Any advice tips po for the listening part ng exam?

@iamtsay dala ka passport. Ung passport mo na lang gawin mong identification. wala naman kaso yan since emirates ID lang naman. Pero kung sa passport ka may problema, medyo magkaka issue ka.

pero I suggest po na wag na lng pa rescore since yung speaking and open - ended question lang po ang i consider nila for rescoring. Either way, possible na yung ibang marks po ninyo ay bumaba pa. Plus, kelangan po ninyo ng fee for rescoring.

Nagpapractice ako ng speaking using speechnotes. Grabe hindi ko maperfect yung mga words. Sa inyo ba naiintindihan ng speechnotes lahat ng sinasabi nyo? pag binagalan ko naman pag sasalita mauubos yung time kung sakali. Hays nahihirapan ako sa speaking!

@spencer0731, no need nyo po pataasin yung pronunciation, ako po naka speaking = 90; pronunciation = 62 it means na kahit di mkuha ni computer yung sinasabi nyo as long as tuloy2 po kayong nagsasalita ng mabilis, your in the game.

Hi po! Sobrang thankful po ako sa mga posts dito. I just got my result this morning, and I passed! Glory to God. Nagreview po ako sa JRooz, para po sa mga may questions kung need pa ba talaga magreview center. Kasi yun din yung question ko before kaso wala akong nabasa dito na nagreview center sa Jrooz. Then I tried. I'll share my experience to help others.
Nagenroll ako sa 2 weeks na review. So eto po yung advantages:

1. Mapapractice ka sa maingay na environment while taking the exam

2. May pressure ka na magreview talaga kasi kapag nasa bahay ka tatamarin ka

3. May feedbacks yung coaches about sa result ng practice exams, para alam mo kung saan ka magfofocus

4. May mga kasama ka na magkakarelate-an kayo kasi pare-parehas kayo ng goal. Pwede kayo manghingi ng tips sa kanila tapos maiinspire kayo sa isa't-isa

Sa ayon po yung advantages nya, ang bayad ko po ay P7400 for 2 weeks. Medyo mahal po siya. For me, kung tingin niyo kaya niyo naman pong magreview nang hndi tatamarin, okay lang po kahit self review na lang pero dapat din kung self review, meron kayong kakilala na pwedeng magcheck halimbawa sa speaking niyo or writing nyo, para maenhance nyo. Kasi yun po ang maganda sa review, yung feedbacks. Para maimprove mo yung ibang parts.

Furthermore, sobrang need pa rin ng self review kahit nagenroll ka na sa review center. Kasi tips lang sila, ang dapat po nating gawin is practice ng practice ng practice, and read ng mga english articles, then listen sa mga podcasts.

Most importantly, prayer and Bible verse. Ang Bible verse ko po bago magexam, Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart,lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your path straight."

For more info abt PTE Exam:
1. Naubusan ako ng time sa Listening,meorn akong di nasagutan na isang item. Time management po sa Reading and Listening

2. Iba yung sequence ng Reading. Una yung Fill in the Blanks Reading and Writing. Last yung Fill in the Blanks Reading

3. Sa Repeat Sentence, sa una maiksi, tapos yung iba medyo mahaba

4. Sa part ng Retell Lecture, ang sinabi ng speaker "Describe the image" (kahit hndi sya part ng Describe Image)

5. Hindi po masyadong maingay sa Test Center. Actually ang comfortable po

Ako lang yata malakas yung boses sa Speaking haha

6. Medyo malamig po, magdala po kayo ng jacket para hindi ginawin

7. Practice ng practice para pag exam na feeling mo mock test lang, hndi ka kakabahan

8. Kapag nagkamali, shake it off. Go pa rin! Laban lang. If you made a mistake, do better on other items para bawi

@mvg may iba iba po kasing strategy, depende kung san ka comfortable. Nahirapan din po ako dyan nung una.
-Yung sakin po,habang nagsasalita yung speaker, ginagaya ko rin yung sinasabi niya. In that way, naaalala ko yung sinabi ko.
-Meron naman po per first letter sinusulat. For example, "She likes cake." Isusulat mo "Slc"
-Meron naman po, sulat mo yung unang part, tapos imemorize mo yung dulo.
Kayo po baka may madiscover kayong sarili niyong strategy
