@dy3p meaning mas madami ang 190 invites this year as compare to 189? Ok lang ako sa 5 year regional as long as meron trabaho na naghihintay sa mga migrants.

@dy3p This is sad, asang asa p nmn kami kay SM. If regional diba wala benefits sa centrelink tama ba?

@riseendreev I'm not quite sure pero that's for both 189 and 190. Tama, the only reason why I think we migrants choose to live in the city is because of job opportunities. I live and work in a regional area (3.5 hours) from Brisbane and I can tell you na sobrang ok. Don't get me wrong, we do like to go out once in a while and experience traffic, shops, buildings etc. But saving in a regional area is so much easier.

@Pixiepie Meron din po basta PR. I don't think may difference pag dating sa capital cities. Dumating ako on a 457, pero after 2 weeks nagfile na ko ng 189. 189 na ang visa status namen ngayon.

Overall I think din na moving migrants to regionals is not the answer. I mean, job differs.

eto pala mga links just incase.

@dy3p @riseendreev sana ndi nila magawan ng paraan na i-hold ang migrants sa regions since may implicating issues to restrict migrants from moving anywhere in Australia. Mas maganda sana if they can provide incentives or more jobs sa regional.

If mas ok sa regional, in terms of saving money, gusto ko yan. Pero yung work availability ang question. Yung iba kasi n nabasa ko dito 3 months n sa Brisbane no work p din, baka mapili ewan ko din.

Maisingit lng po itong ques ko although out of topic. Mas malimit ba ang casual jobs dyan? And when ba expected magka fulltime job after BM? Ok lang ba if puro casual jobs lang? Would it not affect citizenship appln after 5 years.

Tiningnan ko visa 190 anlalaki ng Show of proof or show money di kakayanin ng pamilya ko hehehehe...

@Pixiepie Well depende talaga sa profession. Kahit papano, it still pays the bills naman.

tingin ko they might restrict the 189 ITA and increase 489 visas to force the applicants to choose the regional areas.

Nakakapag alala talaga!

Sana nga may incentive sa regional, mas ok if ganun para mababa din cost of living..

Pinag uusapan namin ni fiancee', if may work lang sa Newcastle or even Tasmania na same sahod and same growth opportunities, walang isip isip, lilipat kami agad.

So yeah, dapat may incentives to push people to live in the regional areas. Issue lang is international travel kasi the airports are in the main cities.

@Pixiepie regional area na kami nakatira dito sa Australia eversince. ang nakikita ko lang tlga na drawback ng mga aspiring immigrants is pag nagfall sa IT ang occupation, ang liit ng chance na magkaron ng madaming job for them.

Hoping for the best to all!

@Pixiepie just sharing my own experience here at Perth. I’m into facilities management Sa Pinas for more than 10 years sa manufacturing plants and a year in high rise building facilities. But I tell you, I had been into different trady jobs from being an inspector of air receiver tanks on my first year (only casual for 5 months), had worked as a tanker trailer assembly technician (full time but lasted for only 3 months), worked in the food industry as production pastry loader (been into this thru a referral but prior this we do Uber eats with my wife for more than 3 months finding a job). And finally landed my full time permanent job now into a hydraulics company which is closely in line in my field as a mechanical engineer. I haven’t mentioned my in between cash on hand jobs as dishwasher, aluminium glass trade assistant. So my take on your plan to migrate is prepare to be flexible. Much of Australia’s work is more on trady jobs.
