mga kabayan, newbie lng po ako d2. i'm planning to migrate din sa AU. mg-2 yrs pa lng ako sa new work ko but i had 6 yrs working exp from previous company as analyst programmer. Need ko pa ba mgprovide ng COE with detailed roles/responsibility from previous company pra sa ACS? Di ko kc sure kung i-entertain pa ko ng dati kong employer for this type of COE. Pano po pla process ng Statutory Declaration?

hi Need nyo po yung previous company para sa COE nyo, sayang ang 6years na ipapaassess nyo sa ACS, hindi lang po education ang iaassess pati po yung year of experience nyo na related sa tinapos nyo.

About statutory declaration, para sa commonwealth country lang po sya, kung nasa pinas po kayo eh affidavit or third pary declaration in front of a lawyer or any authorized witness po ang gagawin nyo.

The ACS office will be closed from 21 December, 2012 and re-open on 14 January, 2013.

The skills assessment team will endeavour to finalise all priority deadline applications before 21 December, 2012 but cannot guarantee any applications due to the high number of assessments expected at this time.

@abc27 - thanks for sharing that! I would've waited, panicked and wondered why the results took longer than the others. Sana nga umabot by 21st! Hehehe. Although I submitted mine December 7th lang :B Normally 2-3 weeks po right? Thanks!

@yukie77 normally a month yung processing. They received my docs Nov18, wala pa rin result ko. 'With Assessor' pa rin status nung akin. Hayzzz

I'm not really sure how long it takes. Dati parang 2-3 weeks yata. but recently, parang umaabot na siya ng 4-5 weeks eh. I just hope they will be able to process more before Friday as they are taking quite a long holiday break. Otherwise, hintay pa tayo ng 3 weeks. Hayyy...

Nagpapasalamat po talaga ako at may forum na ganito. May tanong din po ako at dito na ako nagpost kasi plano ko din magpa-assess sa ACS. Baka meron diyan similar case or mga kuwento ng mga kakilala at kaibigan sa case ko.

Kelangan ko kasi ung 6-months na first work experience ko pangbuffer sa number of years ko. Nag-aral kasi ako dati ng 2yrs Vocational. Then nagwork ako agad sa school as Network Admin. Dahil hindi ako degree holder, local hire ang nangyari sa akin. Hindi ipinasa sa Head Office ng school yung records ko. Pero may kontrata ako under the Franchise name at may mga payslips pa ako. May record din ako sa BIR at SSS. So ang iniisip ko, papagawa ng affidavit na close na nga ung branch ng school at papapirmahin ko ung School Director dati. Any idea if ACS (or DIAC) will verify it from the Head Office? Thanks

In my case, nde ako na-inform kahit sa current work ko na ACS checks to verify my docs.. ung iba nman d2 sa forum may ng verify. So case to case po... Pero kung 5yrs na total work exp its good enough to get 10pts, more than 8yrs nman ay 15pts

@jaja_ajay, sa case mo state mo din na yung signatory nung affidavit mo eh a former colleage/Director during nung time na nasa kanila ka, then lagay mo lahat ng possible contact nung dating director mo, if in case sya ang tatawagan at hindi ang school, if ever tawagan man yung Head Office baka to verify lang na nag exist yung school/work mo dati and yung director is a previous employee.

Kung madali para sayo ang kumuha ng signature nung dating Director mo, I think walang problema, kasi sya ang haharap sa lawyer during sa signing ng affidavit.

@legato09, salamat din. uu, friend ko ung School Director dati. hehe.. Inaalala lang namin na baka nga tumawag sa Head Office at kalkalin records ko at siya pa mapahamak..

@jaja_ajay regarding the Sec2 school, walang problema dun basta yung units mo and degree requirements eh pasok sa AQF, baka mamaya nyan Degree pa ibigay sayo. It is worth a try.

@jaja_ajay, wala ka dapat ikatakot lalo't na buhay pa yung tao na pipirma sa Affidavit and as you said, meron ka contract and payslip na you can use if they ask additional supporting documents to support your affidavit, I'm sure meron header nung dating school yan.
