I am not so keen on the 190 or 489 because i was hoping to avoid the assessment process again. Nanghinayang ako dun sa binayad ko dati.. Then I will have to wait if a state would nominate me pa.. Haaayyy.. Paano pa kaya..
Thanks for the reply!

Tip: mahal agent sa SG, naginquire din ako dyan. Sobra mahal hehe. Recommend ko si Gigi O'Sullivan, she's based in Canberra.

Hi!
Im working in advertising here sa Pinas. I wonder if pasok siya sa digital marketing since digital heavy naman work namin.
Anyway, iniisip ko ngayon which path to take on my way to AU. There's the finding jobs online (community manager, copywriting-related), and there's applying for 189 via points system. More than 8 years na rin ako nagwowork and mag32 years old pa lang din ako so im just wondering ano yung best way to get to australia.
Salamat sa magrerespond!

@France11 Carefully check the job tasks required for a successful skills assessment for Advertising Specialist and for Marketing Specialist, then have yourself assessed for the occupation which most closely fits your work experience. The advertising or marketing medium doesn't seem to matter much in the assessment, what seems to matter is whether or not you are doing the tasks that Vetassess requires for those occupations.
Both Advertising Specialist and Marketing Specialist aren't eligible for a 189 visa. You have to check which states sponsor your occupation for 190 or 491 visas. 491 visa is a provisional visa with a guaranteed pathway to a PR visa once you satisfy the visa conditions.
You can try applying for jobs online but most employers prefer to hire someone who already has working rights here. This is because it's expensive to hire overseas workers. The employer will have to do job market testing to ensure no one here is qualified for the job opening and they have to pay a levy.
Given your age and number of years of work experine I suggest you try to get a 190 or 491 visa.

@maguero Thank you so much! Sige will explore those options. Right now, I’m looking at ad agencies either sa syndey or melbourne to apply to then if wala talaga maybe to other states and hindi siguro ad agency (maybe in house or something).
Anyway thank you again, @maguero.

I found out recently from an agent that my ANZSCO is 212411. Am I right to assume that I can apply using either 189 or 190?
