@beetle00 saang Suburb po kayo pupunta? Kung malapit lng sa train station, pwedeng pwede yan. Medyo mahihirapan ka lng ng konti kapag rush hour kasi madaming tao. Trains lang din gamit namin kapag sumusundo kami ng friends or family na dumadalaw hehe.

in addition, pwede mo na rin iplan yung trip mo ahead kung plano mo magcommute via train/bus. you can check this link ( https://transportnsw.info/travel-info/ways-to-get-around/bus/bus-operator-maps ) para magkaroon ka ng idea sa routes kung may dadaan near your place.

@PinoyMech Hi po, for me po ngayong IE ko bank account lang inopen ko online before the actual IE date tapos during IE pick up na lang po ng card.

Yung TFN at yung medicare balak ko po sa BM na kasi kailangan po yata nga mailing address dun.

Hi po. Ask ko lang sa base sa immi grant. Nakalagay kasi na for first entry, arrive by January 2020 na date. But nung april po kami na grant, pwede ba na sa June na kami of this year mag BM?

Gastusin nyo na po yung million pesoses nyo na ipon to buy AUD while mura pa siya. Kasi pag AUD na po ang kinikita nyo tapos magpapapadala sa Pinas or magdedeposit sa inyong peso account, mejo nakakasama po ng loob ang exchange rate ngayon.

Tip, if you are supporting families sa pinas, why don't you maintain Ph account to be use in paying expenses or funding love ones sa pinas. Wag dalhin lahat sa Australia. Para income in Australia sa Au nyo gamitin, save k na ng transfer fees at exchange loss if any. Once bakasyon ka sa pinas pondohan mo ph account.

hello! hingi naman akong tip sa inyo especially sa may mga property before BM. we're planning to sell our condo unit here in Mandaluyong para may pocket money kami for our BM. pano niyo nabenta yung condo niyo? January 2020 ang IE namin so dapat mabenta na namin before this year ends.

@barbedwire Dito n dn me s AU. For TFN & medicare need both ng address and contacts m. Another thing sa medicard hahanapan ka dn ng bank account so good if meron kna.. Regarding nmn s waiting time ng pgpapadala nla ng mga Cards nito, ito po s akin:

TFN - within 28 days
Commbank debit card - 8 banking days
Medicard - within 2-3 weeks

Lhat ng yan and including CRN ang meron plang po ako to date is corresponding registration or account numbers without cards yet as I all applied on May 14.

Next target ko po is un driving licence exam that would cost around 50AUD so review mode po muna ako! Thanks and goodluck po!

Agree with @batman I also maintain an account in PH for my PH txns. Make sure that you update first your mobile numbers in your PH bank para when you do fund transfers, you still get the OTP in your AU number. AFAIK, walang charge yun.
@barbedwire in my case, I used my trusted friend's AU address for my bank account so lahat ng mails ko napupunta sa kanya. sealed naman yun so you would know if your friend is really trusted or not :-P Make sure lang to update all systems pag may perm address ka na. For medicare, centrelink and TFN, I think you have to be in AU to process that. May personal appearance sa medicare (including your family if you have one) and TFN naman knows if you are in AU already even if processing is done online.
@beetle00 uber does not accept cash so dapat may card ka

cabs accepts both cash or card.
@PinoyMech I wouldnt risk bringing in my pirated software/media. I read somewhere that they can now open your laptops, even your social media so I would rather put it in a cloud drive instead (ie, google drive, dropbox). But then again, its still your decision

Sa mga ngopen ng NAB bank account, nreceiv namin yung debit card pero hndi nmin tnry kung gumgana, check ko lng if need ba namin sya i-activate pa sa atm machine or nung ng verification kmi sa bangko inactivate na nila yung card?

@Hendro Download mo nag NAB mobile app, then activate mo ang debit card mo using it. Asap magagamit mo and you can open another account using the app, they will mail the new debit card, no need for any bank visit.

Hello @zach@052019, when I check my Nab online account, under Cards, wla naka link na card dun na online. Though we visited the bank during our initial entry to do verification at binigay nila yung card, hndi ko nconfirm kung ready to use na sya at wla nrn kmi sa Au to check sa atm kung gumagana ba tlga hahha

@Hendro first time na ginamit ko un card pinasok ko yun pin ko then afterwards tap tap na. nagrequest din akong visa na card para makapagonline transactions kasi un eftpos na debit nde kaya. pwede mong request un visa card through app or sa mismong branch.

@Hendro Nasa mail din nakalagay ang instructions how to activate the card. Kailangan mag set pa ng pin or try na lang sa NAB ATM if the mobile app isn't helpful.

Yung sa amin kasi naka link agad, and activate ko agad sa app, it was asking for the last 4 digits yata ng card number, then nag send ng OTP sa naka link na mobilr number, and nagamit ko agad either eftpos or cash withdrawal.

Hi po, andito pa po ako pinas, balak ko po sana magpabili ng australian sim card sa friend ko na uuwe ng pinas para gamitin ko sa pag-apply, alam ko po hindi gagana yun, bale ilalagay ko lang po sya as alternative number, if hindi makontak yun, ilalagay ko yung skype number ko, tapos yung australian address po ng friend ko ilalagay ko. Gagana po kaya un?

@cyborg5 Passport lang at tfn hiningi ng HR. Na assess na mga diploma mo and other certoficates ng assessing body ng skills mo, i guess no need na yan.

@quantum Inopen yung luggage ko sa naia may pinahid lng cla ewan ko kung anu yun hehe tapos lalagyan nila ng sticker luggage mo na security checked. In my case nman d2 sa brisbane if my declaration ka sa mga dala mo ipapaopen nila yung dala mo pra makita nila kung acceptable ba sa regulations nila, dala ko kc banana chips nung nakita ng immigration officer ok nman pinapasok na ko. So better ideclare mo na lng yung doubtful ka kung pwede ba dalhin.
