Reciprocity

Good day, nag aral po aq ng nursing sa pinas, may experience din po sa atin then i moved to SG as enrolled nurse, at the moment po i'm working s UK as a nurse for almost 4 years na. I did the overseas nursing program dito in order for me.to practice here. Just wondering po if i can apply s Aus as an RN using my qualification here as a nurse, though s pinas po ang education ko. I heard the word licence reciprocity, but im not quiet sure. Thanks po

    It really varies, all depends on AHPRA’s judgement. I would suggest to get in touch with them first, provide documents you have and they will advice as to whether you still require a bridging course in Australia or could proceed with skills assessment. I’ve had clients from other European countries who have been working here in the U.K. for a while but still required to do a bridging course in Australia and there are some who didn’t have to.
