ACS Assessment Inquiry about Signatures

Hi! I am new to this forum and I cant find any resource or post pertaining to my problem.

I am in dilemma because the signature on my passport is different than the rest of my documents, ie, COE.

Is it ok to proceed my ACS application like this? What possible repercussions i may have to deal with?

Hi guys, apologies for the confusion. I am referring to the signature on my Passport and on my COE. I do not know how to describe this but the signature on my Passport has a little bit of sharpness while on my COE's it has a noticeable curve.

baka nag overthink ka na kapatid. as long as it is both your original signature ( no changes sa initials), I think a slight difference on the stroke will not cause any issue/s. Sobrang noticeable ba? Mukhang ibang iba ba that it can cause suspicion?

Hi @ms_ane, apparently it is noticeable. I am just thinking of getting an attorneys opinion for this. I have also emailed ACS and they said this:

"If you have concerns in relation to this you would need to provide a statutory declaration."

    • just do whatever you feel is right and magbigay sayo ng peace of mind. personally I won’t mind, as long as I know na ako din naman yung nag sign ng both document at wala namang falsification na nagaganap.

Mas nag ma-matter, I believe, yung consistency of information across these documents like date of birth, your name - vital information to identify you, ika nga  I wouldn’t worry much pagdating sa signature.

@ocinico as far as I know po hindi valid document ang employment contract as ACS requirement. Pero baka mali din ako. Padouble check na lang po yung guidelines :)

I would just address it if ACS questions it. No point worrying about it at this stage. At the moment, there are other more important things to focus on ie making sure all your documents are compliant.

    Best of luck.

That’s a good point, why have you got your signature on your COE, @ocinico ?
