Few observations.

Kung ikaw ay may halimbawa may 8 years of exp sa profession mo at inaaplyan mo ay ex. 263112 Network Engineer, at ikay nag tapos ng kursong BS IT Major in Networking, or BSIT nalang. Magiging 6 years equivalent lang sa ACS ang 8 yrs work exp with some additional factors. Within sa 8 years of exp mo dapat related sa networking yung work mo, if not malaking chance hindi nila iccount yung "x" years/months na yun. By standard minus 2 years lagi sa ACS yung employment years mo, as they deem it to be a "training period".

Ngayon kung hindi akma sa tinapos mo sa college and work mo, high chance hindi nila icount work experience mo.

as per i have read.

   Relevant Work Experience Calculation

   *ACS deducts 2 years from your last 10 years work experience OR
   *ACS deducts 4 years from your TOTAL work experience.

   This deduction criteria is in addition to the one mentioned earlier based on education degree.

   In sample report above, person has 11 years 6 months relevant work experience starting from June 2006.

   Assuming degree is considered as ICT Major and relevant to your nominated occupation, these rules  will apply:

  ACS will deduct 2 years from last 10 years or 4 years from total experience, whichever gives you  EARLIER ‘AFTER START DATE‘

  *If 2 years from last 10 years are deducted (Go back 10 years from 3 April 2018, you get 3 April 2008),  then add 2 years as a deduction to reach at 3 April 2010 – Called as Skill Applicability date.

  *If 4 years from total experience are deducted, this date would come out as JUNE 2010. How? Count the relevant years from ACS report starting June 2006, you reach June 2010.

So yung nabasa ko kanina na DBA admin na halos walang na credit na work exp sa 4 years of work nya, maari eto yung explanation.

Check mo po kung ano yung mas pasok sa work experience mo and course mo nung college to get maximum years na ma include sa assessment.

Grad Certificate - finished March 2019
or
Grad Diploma - finished July 2019

meron kasi ako local exp nagstart ng Jan 2019. Ang worry ko baka hindi e count yung Jan-July local exp if yung Grad Diploma gamitin ko.

Anyone can help?

Sa pagkakaintindi ko sa ACS guidelines, maka-count lang ang work experience mo after you got the qualification. Meaning, kung gagamitin mo Mar 2019, hindi pa rin counted ang exp mo from Jan-Feb.

yup, yun din pagkakaintindi ko.
So it’s better to use the grad cert para atleast counted yung Apr onwards?

Meron ako bachelor pero section 3 school ko sa pinas. Hindi ko na ba need e submit din yun?Isa lang dapat?

If you were my client, I would advice you to send both and leave the decision to ACS. Good luck

Hi everyone. I've been a silent reader here in pinoyau. Newbie pa, pero I've been learning a lot thru the info shared by other pinoys here. :-)

I have several questions po regarding my situation prior to ACS assessment. Here are the details:

ECE grad, board passer
Section 1 school
Software Test Engineer since 2008 (project based but full-time, Company A) absored by Company B since start of 2009
Software Test Engineer since 2009 until Sept. 2018 (regular, full-time, Company
role change (Product Owner) since Sept 2018 until now.

Questions:

Which code should I use? I was thinking of Software Engineer instead of Software Tester kasi the former has more chance daw po of being in the immig list.
Should I get 3 COEs? 1 for Company A, 1 for Company B for 1st role, and 1 for Company B for another role? or 2 COEs lang po, 1 for Company A, and 1 for Company B detailing the JDs for each roles?
Is the certificate from PRC (not the one with the grades) enough already? I can't find the one with the grades po kasi :-(

By the way, meron na ako acs assessment before expired na nga lang. Hindi ko pa alam kung ano gagawin meron kasi ako nabasa pwede update lng pero hindi ko pa na check.

1. Based on your work exp software tester ka from 2008-2018. If you are going to choose Software Engineer, ACS might not count that as related to your occupation because they have different jd

2. Get COE that is related to your selected occupation

All third party Statutory Declaration or Affidavits must include one of the following as supporting
evidence: (these must be in relation to you, the applicant and not the declarant)
• Certified copy of payslips – preferably first & last payslip for the employment period
• Certified copy a Human Resource statement or Service Certificate with employment dates
• Certified copy of a Termination Letter with employment dates

Need po ba dapat to? and sakin pong payslip or COE yan noh?

@yonid you can check both occupation kung ano mas pabor sayo.. sa assessment naman mahalaga ung nakalagay sa job description, itailor mo nln ung reference letter sa napili mo. to answer your questions
