@cucci may nabasa po kasi ako na hindi since andito pa ako sa pinas, at hindi pa officially nagiging permanent resident, pagbumisita n daw po sa pinas from aus, dun lang dun po ma-eexempt kasi nagsettle na po sa aus.

Based sa PDOS seminar, hanggat hindi pa tayo nakakapasok sa Australia hindi pa activated ang pagiging Permanent Resident natin. Ngayon tayo ay Emigrant pa lang, after initial entry, doon pa lang maactivate ang ating Permanent Residency or matatawag na Immigrant ng Australia. Hanggat hindi pa activated Permanent Residency obligado pa rin tayo magbayad ng travel tax, pero once activated na meaning sa pangalawang pasok natin sa AU exempted na tayo sa travel tax.

sir share ko lang experience namin sa pdos kanina lang regarding sa tax exemption. ofw rin po kami pero manggaling sa pilipinas pag alis, ang sabi po nila ay need pa rin po daw namin magbayad ng travel tax since first time namin. ang di ko natanong ay kung papano pagbalik uli at ano ang ipapakita. di ata ako nakikinig kanina kasi kaya di ko rin narinig paliwanag.hehe.

That's what I did. So ibibigay niyo lang yung AU bank account details niyo then yung peso cash niyo is sila mag dedeposit here. Conversion ng peso to aud is kung ano ung current rate nung araw na nag pa money transfer kayo. Ang charge lang nila is $10 Aud then max 9k aud a week ata ang pde itransfer.

Kakabalik ko lang galing pinas.
Exempted na sa travel tax pero kelangan pa rin pumila sa booth para bigyan ng certificate of exemption na ipre present nmn pag check in. That is, IF LESS THAN A YEAR ang stay sa Pinas bago bumalik. They just asked for a copy ng visa grant.
Eh dahil hindi ko alam, wala akong dalang print out, pinakita ko n lng yung soft copy from my phone at sila na nag print. Nasabihan lang ako na mag privide next time. 😅

@imau auto po yung ftb pagfamily kayo nagmigrate you can claim agad pagkaregister mo sa centrelink. Medicare ay auto din pag PR ka, kumukuha ng private insurance to avoid extra tax, but it's optional.

@imau best person/agency to advise ay yung mismong nagbigay ng grant, try to call australia office.:) But looking sa grant mo you need to do your first entry on or before October 28, 2020.
