What do you mean po hindi na naupdate?

Ako po during processing ng documents ko yung skills assessment ko hindi ko na naupdate kahit lumipat ako ng employer hangang sa na grant. Wala naman pong naging problema.

Thanks guys! Number 1 tip: Don't give up! I had 3 or 4 rejections, ang hirap ng hiring process: 2 interviews, 2 exams tapos minsan may trial day pa.

Muntik na ako umuwi nung Monday, nagrebook lang ako. Then yung sunod na interviews ko sobrang dali na lang and the day after, may work na. Start ko na sa Monday.

Sayang ticket ko pero all worth it!

Car is a necessity in Australia, @ali0522 lalo na kung mahilig mamasyal. Pero some people opt to live near their workplace, train/tram/bus station para kasi mahal din ang maintenance, petrol etc

Depende din kung san kang state pala titira, may mga states na scarce sa public transporation.

Huuu mixed emotions na iyan kapatid! Naiimagine ko na yun samin feeling ko maiiyak ako hahaha! halo halo na kasi - and kahit papaano naman e we called SG our second home na din naman pero we are so looking forward na din sa BM namin sa January.

Hi @duane,

In my opinion, best way to start is to have a self assessment based on your working experience. Try to visit the AIQS and EA website for their immigration assessment requirements. Para sa kin, mas madali yung assessment ng AIQS. But beware, napaka-strikto nila. generally they have 3 main requirements. 1) school you graduated from, 2) degree and experience & 3) approved supervision.

Based on my personal experience and by going through this forum, if you fail to meet one of the three mentioned above, it's better to have your assessment with EA. Medyo matrabaho lang pero sigurado.

Thanks guys! Sorry di ako masyado makadalaw dito kasi busy na sa work (NAKS) hehe. House hunting na ngayon ang ginagawa ko at para magsama sama na kami ng mag ina ko.

Number 1 tip talaga na maibibigay ko is NEVER GIVE UP. Senior/Managerial Level na ako bilang Software Engineer sa Pinas pero dito kahit Entry Level pinasahan ko. Muntikan na ako umuwi after last rejection ko, actually nag book na ako. Pero yung week after nung last rejection ko, nagka JO ako. What it means is that meron talagang work na naka 'reserve' para sayo, kelangan mo lang mapuntahan.

Funny story, medyo OA mag interview ang mga anaps kaya medyo natrauma na ako, yung company na nag hire sakin, di ko dapat pupuntahan kasi anaps yung mag iinterview. Pero pinuntahan ko pa rin kahit alam kong gigisain ako sa interview. Thankfully, naipasa ko at next day may JO na ako.

Goodluck sa mga naghahanap ng work or yung mga pa BM pa lang. Isipin nyo yung hirap natin sa pag aapply pa lang, for sure kayang kaya natin yung mga susunod na challenges.

Pag Indian mahigpit, pag puti madali lang. Pero sa trabaho, weak ang mga anaps haha.

if may job offer na kayo na accessible sa target nyong suburb then its OK. otherwise, i think you might want to consider first yung job location. kasi public transport minsan hndi reliable at mahirap mag commute kapag winter at summer..

example narre warren station to cbd (flinders st station) is approx 1hr 10mins
(excluding yung time if need mo pa mag bus or tram).

tipid sa housing pero ung time for family ang mag suffer.

I can be wrong but you might want to consider this.
